Wow, this kid has OG written all over him! He is a nasty, ferocious, tough SOB. Love his film, has a great motor and awareness. I'm VERY impressed with how well he gets to the second level and just annihilates linebackers. The only thing I'm not sure on is his pass blocking ability. There were only 2 or 3 clips of him taking a pass set and the kids he was going against didn't look to intimidating(though pass blocking is 2nd to run blocking for OG's). Overall this kid is a great addition to our O-line haul!

I agree with the pass blocking but his team is the definition of run heavy, they have ran the triple option for as long as I can remember.

Yeah I know how that goes running the Wing-T when I was in high school, where pass blocking was turning your shoulders towards the sideline and run while the QB scrambles to dump it off to the TE for a 5 yard gain. I never learned how to take a proper pass set until my freshman year in college.

He's the type of OL Wisconsin has been getting for years and turning into studs. Big, mean, midwestern kid. I'm excited to watch his development.

Reminds me of Seth Rogen after seeing him in his most recent ISD interview.

And he reminds me of Chris Watt 2.0 with a little bit of an extra gear. Kid is the epitome of what a nasty OL is supposed to be.

I hope you're right, I would be ecstatic with Chris Watt 2.0.

I'm glad you bumped this because it made me watch his film again. Every time I do, all I do is smile and just think of the absolute steal this pickup is. Aside from Crawford, this is my favorite recruit in the class so far.

Screw his rankings. I will take this:

Wiltfong just posted fairly long post about how much Coach Hiestand loves Trevor and that we shouldn't doubt his track record.

Love this kid, everything about him.

Did you see his head? Now that's a noggin'!

Along with Hodge? We will have one big-headed offensive line in a few years!

(I wear a 7 7/8's myself)

Roughneck mauler --- pancakes people after the whistle even --- operating in a run-all-the-time offense, so Kelly/Heistand see him as an inside behemoth rather than an edge "dancer/puncher". So, they've told him that they'd like to try him out at guard when he gets to ND. If his feet don't speed up right away, playing in the inner three allows three-man coordination to make up for a lot of that, something a lot harder at tackle.

Cap size 7 7/8, you say? Indeed, a tweed-capped schemer, if ever there was one. Crooked grin and wisdom in your wink, like Victor McLaglen!
