He was offered today and Wiltfong instantly threw down a CB. This might be the commit that may or may not we don't know and are still waiting but good news coming.

Kid has a lot of B1G interest and has good size. Need to find more info but if our coaches see this as a "take" you have to think the more high profile schools are right behind.

IMO, kid has a question mark (School size, competition, late bloomer) and ND found out what the issue was, reason behind it and offered.

All I could find was lots of visits with a D1 offer list. Not an ELITE or even GREAT offer list. Just a lot of interest.

EDIT: Post was before anything but a pic was up. His video looks mean! I don't know what a good D1 lineman should look like but firing off and killing everything in your path should be a good start. Seems quick with his get off. Guard??? Also noticed when he finishes his guy he stops and looks around. Not sure if good or bad but that mean streak he seems to have could be a very good thing in his development. You can't coach a guy to want to pancake his man every play.

Per Wiltfong, ND has been "courting" him for some time and Hiestand finally liked him enough to offer.

Loy suggested that this offer isn't actionable yet/is contingent on him coming to camp this summer and performing well.

Both believe he ends up at ND

I'll take that.

I wonder if with the additional Kinlaw scholly we are considering a 4th guy on the OL this cycle. If someone with a good handle of the numbers could weigh in I would appreciate it

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought we were taking 4 anyways.

It's possible that different sites are reporting different info but Wiltfong said, today, that he was under the impression that the staff is only taking one more on the line

Don't have a problem with this either...if he wows at the camp he's definitely a take.

Not the biggest kid and IDK how is competition is, but I thought he looked pretty good on film.

I wouldn't even worry about the numbers, every year someone transferring, quitting, kicked out, flunked out, medical, etc. Just sign 2-3 over every year and it always works out.

Except we are talking about 3-4 and the numbers absolutely matter.

You can watch about 30 seconds of this kids tape. He is maniacal! This kid drives his opponent into next Tuesday!

What is it with all these (relatively)unheralded offensive linemen that can play in this class?

Wow,

I don't watch OL film very often, but damn, he fires off the ball QUICK. I couldn't help but laugh, after awhile, after each and every pancake. The kid likes hitting people, and that attitude along with a little cockiness is nothing to be frowned upon.

Hate to be redundant...but Trevor loves blowing up defensive lineman. He plays with the passion I love to see from a young guy. I think he would be a great guard, he should be with Coach Hiestand, do want!

Just watched his clip. He has an extremely quick first step and he doesn't turn off the key until the whistle blows. Like Harry, I would gladly take him.

The nastiness and pancake blocks must be in Trevor's jeans! His father Matt, played defensive line for Iowa. Enthusiasm should be tempered with the level of competition this kid faces. On a Friday night, I can think of better places to be than a high school stadium in McHenry, Lake Zurich, Crystal Lake, or Wheaton, Illinois. I think this proposition holds for college recruiters as well. There are not many Div 1 prospects in the Fox River Valley Conference. May as well attend a game in Lake Wobegon(Minnesota)!
