Ok, I didn't know if there was some weird NCAA rule against officialling to two places in a weeks time or not.

But even if it's allowed, I'd say it's unlikely. Too much travel in a few days time.

Not aware of any such weird rule but will point out that Official Visits are made to a school's campus not to a neutral site in a different state.

I thought the same thing, but they sure made it seem like Syracuse may have shot to the front of the pack. Maybe just trying to get some hits form the Orange.

Sucks. I don't usually get too concerned about any particular recruit, as there's many fish in the sea. But this guy should be the #1 want on our board right now, between need, talent and likelihood of coming here. Any shot we get him on campus for the Temple game?
And if not, why not? I could see a football-first kid picking Ohio State or 'Bama. But if "distance isn't a factor" we offer everything Penn State and Syracuse do, except a lot more of it. Frustrating.

Well talk about different info coming from different places.. In an interview with the Florida 247 site after his Syracuse visit he said this:

"I know I was planning on sitting down with my coach, my mother, my uncle and my cousin to work on that,” Holley said of scheduling upcoming official visits
“Definitely sit to talk to them, nothing is written in stone, but I know there is a strong possibility that there’s going to be an official visit to Ohio State, Florida, Notre Dame, probably Florida State and debating whether Penn State or Syracuse.

He also spoke glowingly about ND and mentioned Elijah and Jay trying to recruit him.

He hasn't actually scheduled any official visits as of right now. The article just talks about his top group and what he likes about them. Then he says that he's looking to take officials. Hopefully we get one of those.

Jay Hayes told Loy that he gets good vibes from Holley regarding ND, and the feeling he gets from him, and the general feeling in Brooklyn, is that it will come down to Bama and ND for Holley.

I don't see him signing here ultimately. With an elongated decision schedule I think that is certainly good for us, but he seems to have a lot of thinking left to do and I would lean towards him going with the "hot" team/pressure recruiter in Urban Meyer at the end of the day. That's just my uneducated opinion though.

I really hope we get him because I think he could be a fantastic piece.
