Yeah. He got mad at Hollywood and asked to be deleted.
Ha ha, that was a funny night.
Domelover and I did not see eye to eye from the jump, beginning with the fact that he called a recruit's dad 'retarded' (or something to that effect) and the fact that he used to tweet at recruits with his boy grubl. He and that idiot would bring that crap to this site and make us look like fools. Several people told him to cut that crap out, and he would, but like a crack fiend he couldn't help himself and he'd go right back at it.
I tried to help him out by showing him the etiquette of posting (he was fond of ripping recruits when he first joined) and he seemed to get better.
Then one night he posted something offensive and I deleted it, which set him off, and he PM's me ripping me a new one, talking about how ****** of a teacher I am and how my students must hate me, and that I was an old man etc etc. Now, a better man would let that go, considering he's just a high school kid. But it was late Friday night, my wife had already went to bed, and well, I'm not a better man.
So I joined in his rip-fest and bagged on him back (not horribly, but I let him have it). Finally I got bored with it and decided to end it, and told him this, "Look kid, it's 11:30 on Friday night, my wife and I already did our thang, I'm 38 yrs old and already had my fun in life, and bagging on some high school kid with a big mouth before I go to bed isn't something I'm proud of but I'll sleep well tonight. But when I was in h.s., if I EVER found myself sitting in front of a computer on a Friday night arguing with some old man that I'll never meet over some insignificant bullsh!t, I'd shoot myself in the mouth and end it all. For real. Kid, get yourself a girl or get yourself some real friends, 'cause this is embarrassing. It's Friday night and you're in high school but you're sitting here talking to me. Think about that."
He deleted his account 5 minutes later and that was that LOL. Like I said, not something I'm proud of but it funny at the time (reason #2,614 it was time for me to step down), and it has probably saved the new mods a lot of headaches. I don't doubt that he's posting under a new name (you guys would be amazed at how many people we catch doing this).
(Quick tangent...he'll probably look back at all the things he has written and realize how foolish he was. I can't imagine all the stupid things I would have said on a site like this as a high schooler. Shoot, I'm 38 now and I still do stupid things, so imagine me as a high schooler??? There are a couple of high school kids on here now, one of which has said a lot of stupid things, but he has gotten better lately. Happens with age and experience. We have some great members who started in high school, but man, that's a tough age for many just because of maturity issues. Rant over.)
