Per twitter. Who expects them to get slammed by the NCAA?

Just my guess but probably will lose 3-4 schollys a year over next 3 years and have a 1 year bowl ban.

The punishments never fit the crime.

I would expect similar to what OSU was hit with...although, you never can tell with the NCAA.

Seriously considering they dropped everything against Auburn without further investigation, more than 1-3 schollies and 1 year ban would be shocking.

My guess is it will be harsher than the *ucknuts because UNC isn't the draw in CFB that O$U is. NCAA doesn't like to bring pain to it's big $$$ programs. The NCAA sits down to pee.

True but they did throw the book at U$C. So who knows. I did intially thought like you, because they dont bring thr rev that OSU does they would be hit harder.

1 year bowl ban and loss of 15 schollys over three years. 3 year probation and 3 year show cause for Jon Blake.

I was off by 3 schollys.

Kiffin is writing the book on how to get around that. Oversign like hell this year and get a bunch of early enrollees next year.

In all honesty, the NCAA should start capping the incoming classes instead of pulling scholarships. That would keep teams from bending the rules (see Kiffin, Douche) and effectively skirting the punishment.

For a team that has the full 85 scholarship student athletes, the NCAA should cap the next 3 recruiting classes, regardless of player enrollment status, at 17. That's the only way to actually implement penalties.

*Here's where "17" came from:
85 scholarships divided by 4 years = 21.25 scholarships over a 4 year period to stay at the threshold
Round up and assume 22 players per class (with no attrition) and subtract 5 scholarships per year.
Do this for 3 years.

This is smart and logical...it doesn't seem promising.

Seniors allowed to transfer without penalty per Twitter. Obvious question, any that would fit or want to come here?
