Obviously Tee doesn't know the full story from the coaches' perspective, and neither do we. Something isn't being mentioned.

But I think it would be awesome if he did somehow get back into Notre Dame and onto the team. He seems like a great kid, honestly.

3 sides to every story, you are right though, he does seem like a great kid! Good luck Tee!

Maybe he should just call the coaches (or e-mail) and say listen I want to go to ND. I love this place and it is the place for me. I've taken care of my requirements, as a show of good faith I will walk on and earn my scholarship with my academic progress and my play. That's what I would do, if I so loved ND as he claims. JMHO.

How do we know that's an option, financially speaking?

I think Tee is a great kid and I would love to see him follow his dream and get back into ND.

But...if the coaches are ignoring him, there must be a damn good reason. Theres something missing here that none of us know about. In this case I will trust the coaches and simply wish Tee the best in his future.

School loans. It's always an option. My parents didn't have any money. I still paid (am paying) for school.

You and me both. I guess it comes down to how badly he wants to be here (in that hypothetical situation) as I'm sure multiple schools would be MORE than happy to throw a scholly his way.

Seems like alot of you are done with this subject- however if our corners were struggling right now or we were not 4-0 would your perspective change? Just a thought.

Seems like Tee Loves ND, if he does as much as he claims then he will do what it takes to get back.

I understand what you're saying and I agree. Like I said in my original post, if he really loves ND that much and it's really where he wants to be, IMHO taking school loans and earning a scholarship would be the least of my concerns. Hell, he'd probably only have to take loans for a single semester before he earned a scholarship anyways. That's a pretty high return on initial investment for a ND degree and a chance to make it the league.

This is not to say I believe he is coming back or will get the opportunity.

Exactly. I don't buy the "what if it's not financially possible" BS. You can get loans. Everyone can.

The question is: How bad do you want it and how hard are you willing to work?

But I agree that he's not coming back.

Now let's focus on grabbing McKenzie Alexander....And developing Russell, Shall we?

Student loans have a limit and nearly 60k a year is pretty rough. I'm not sure it is possible. Add to that the admissions requirements of ND. If he was having some clearing issues to begin with, imagine trying to gain acceptance without the athletic department's help. I think you guys are dreaming.

Whatever happens... happens. This being brought up on social media (supposedly by him) will not help his cause.

If he had any shot whatsoever, which I still don't think he did, of getting back in he really blew it by publicly lambasting BK and accusing ND of pulling some shady maneuvers.

this whole saga is so damn frustrating...had a 5 star CB (our biggest position of need), from CA, recruited by everyone, hes living on ND campus, loving ND, was solid in his commitment for close to 10 months and this damn convoluted issue(s) kills it all...serenity now!!!

bump!

assuming what tee said was true (a big assumption! and like you guys said theres always 3sides to a story) than bk prolly just got tired and fed up with the whole tee/greenberry recruting saga and he cut bait.

better not hurt us with LJ Moore...thats all i really care about now in terms of the tee legacy.

^This. What he said is his perspective in the whole matter. I'd love to know the whole three sided story cause I'm curious like that but it seems that there must have been some bigger issue that either Tee doesn't know, doesn't recognize or doesn't want to.

Feel bad for him, wish it had worked out but it is what it is. I'll root for him wherever he ends up, seems like he still has love for ND.

Something is really screwed up in this story.

As the greatest movie line of the 20th century said: "What we have here is failure to communicate".

Geez. A big part of me just wants this story to die. Another part of me is glad to hear Tee's side. And that part of me really feels for the kid. Still, the other side of me is more than a little skeptical and suspects there must be more to the story.

I really wish it had worked with Tee, but obviously there is a reason it didn't. I'm never gonig to know that reason, but I'm going to assume its legit. I really wish Tee the best, whereever he might end up. Seems like a really nice kid and he obviously loves ND.

If he somehow gets back into the flock, I'll be freaking ecstatic. That said, I see it as having about the same odds as me going back for my MBA and starting for the basketball team. Wish the best for him, but I have no expectations.

It would be easier to ignore this if it wasn't for the fact he seems to love Notre Dame so much. I agree with some of you that there has to be more to this than we know.

What especially makes no sense (to me at least) is that if ND was just not interested anymore, why wouldn't they just tell him. I can't imagine any circumstance that Kelly or staff would not just tell him that directly. I just think they are too stand up to leave him hanging out.

I hope it gets settled in everyone's mind soon. And frankly, I hope he's playing in our spring game. :)

I'll buy your jersey bro!

The ship seems to have sailed...can we just let it die until we actually have something concrete from the staff in regards to Tee?

What I don't understand is why he isn't playing football somewhere? What is he doing?

I also don't understand why, if he got burned so badly by ND and BK, does he still love ND so much?
