I'm not personally against just think the staff won't offer him. Fairly certain his offer to LSU isn't commitable. If he ends up at Baylor good for him, probably will put up insane numbers in a few years

You guys are right. My point was simply that if we (the coaching staff, not IE board members) want him, we probably have to offer soon because, in my opinion, Baylor is showing him the most faith right now. He's a legit Olympic candidate (best HS high jump in the country this year) and is looking for an elite track program (i.e. not us).

He's not next, so, back on topic: Matt Nelson - visiting Friday.

I posted a similar thought in Dawkins' thread yesterday. Only it was 2 this year and 2 next year. But the idea is the same. Hope that at least one pans out and the others either transfer or switch positions.

I will go short here and say that most Bama recruits wouldn't qualify academically for the Irish. And the three that would is there to lift the overall team GPA. We start running out of CBS scholar athletes of the week about three weeks into the season.
