Regardless of what the mods bring up, I'm going to look into this.

I was going to build a site for/with Kevin back in '16/'17 but I really didn't have the time and luckily for me, he got the Scout gig.

Content is king and the Player Profile Threads are what make this site unique but you have to feed that beast. I love doing it as a hobby but I've gotten too busy with life to do what I used to. After a 10 minute appraisal, it's not worth much but I'd buy it if they are reasonable. Good news is, I have all of my content saved. All created content I contribute is copy paste.

We shall see what happens.

I'm not going anywhere. I rarely post at ISD. I reupped for a year at 247 for the first time since 2013 because of a 75% off day. Too many trolls there for my liking.

I spend more time reading other teams boards than I do on II. Of course, it's a horrible year to follow recruiting. Very boring.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. And again.

Thank you for all the stuff you do. As well as the vbookies and mods. And you're right, the content takes this site up several notches and to another level. The player profiles on other sites aren't near as good.

I also like the thread management here. Some sites are just a complete mess with a new thread every time some player farts. I prefer to have just one thread per player, and not wild west shit.

Let me know what you find out. I might be interested in pitching in. If you have all your content, the migration anywhere wouldn't be so painful.

I was thinking that there is a recent poster on II-247 that writes like you. Posting profiles and Twitter follow updates and all. I appreciate the content, thank you.

I’d also assume that a large portion of our work places have Reddit blocked.

People would actually have to work. Not happening.

Reddit's format is great for curating new content, but it's terrible for fostering meaningful conversations and community.

Is the problem a financial issue as in the site doesn't make money or is it just a management issue? The Cert should be easy to renew and not very expensive. I enjoyed the site back when the Gold Club was around. I think it was like 10 bucks and back then, we had posters that did seem to have some inside info that wasn't let out into the regular forum. I know everyone hates a pay wall but sometimes they help with funding and thus issues like this. I'd be willing to go back to that format.



Then all those that do could consider it "ownership" in the site?

I would hope not as renewal shouldn't be more than $100 tops.
