You've recognized the problem, made the decision to beat it, and are following through. Bring it home!

Today we celebrated NorthDakota's grandma's 75th birthday. Her siblings came. 7 of 9 children made it home(two are farmers so they are busy), and about 20 of her grandchildren were able to make it as well. Fun day.

TRUE STORY:

A good friend of mine was a jailer at the county lockup years ago, and this guy came in. He would refer to himself as "the master of cats," paint whiskers on his face, and sleep under his cot.

He also lost a game of cards and had to shave his head into a "rooster mohawk" as punishment for not being able to pay the debt (he was in that time for fucking and killing a chicken in a motel room). His lawyer showed up, saw his hair, and freaked the hell out I guess, making him shave it all off.

Those were good times...

Remind me why Mcglinchey is a 1st rounder?

Hey I started this thread!!!! Ahhh memories. Back when I was on IE all the time... back when I was in the "Top 15-20 richest users" and back before I blew all of it because we couldn't cover the spread against SC last year.....

McGlinchey got beat like he was in an elevator with Ray Rice and Solange at the same time.

"O" line has never been a more appropriate term - big hole.

All of them looked confused when the guy lined up across from them wasn't the guy that needed to be blocked.

Well folks, it has taken a rather long time to get it officially settled. But your favorite poster on the Northern Plain is trading in his snowshoes for flipflops. I will be moving to the Florida panhandle in the next 2.5 weeks. Got a new job working for the (holding my nose) government doing work for the Air Force.

Since I graduated a couple years ago, I've had relatively "low energy" jobs and this should hopefully change that. Cross your fingers and pray for me please.

Oddly enough, I'll be further from civilization than I am now. Looking forward to a new experience. Any of you(including the losers and haters) ever find yourself in the Pensacola/Fort Walton/Panama City area, let ol' NoDak know.

Good luck. You'll adjust to the summers pretty quickly. August is August and it's supposed to be hot. Summer heat in October and November is much more of an adjustment. Drive down to Crystal River in the winter and visit the manatees.

One fine late spring morning, in any given year, you may wake up to an odd tap on your door. It will be a delightful morning before it gets too hot. You’ll walk out onto your porch and see Ol’ Wooly sitting on the stoop smoking a marijuana cigarette. My truck will be parked in your driveway with a flats boat hooked up to it. We’ll drink rum drinks and be the best day of your life.

Congrats homie.

Listening to some Halloween music on pandora at work to get in the mood and, "Pirates Life for Me" comes on... It made me smile because I LOVE that ride, but now I has a sad because I'm stuck at work rather than at Disneyland...

going to have to get season passes soon.

What part of Illinois? Western Illinois nearly made me fall asleep, which never happens when I drive.

I39. I never want to hear another rural joke from ANYONE who lives in Illinois. Never. I will destroy these clowns if they @me.

Ah yeah, I hate 39. I prefer the US highways and county roads driving right next to corn fields. It's much better scenery in the summer, but ugly in the winter and after harvest. Bloomington's alright though, but I doubt you spent much time other than transferring to another Interstate.

Edit: Yes, and no Illinoisan from outside the cities should be throwing stones at the Dakotas for being "rural".

Curious on the odds of passing a dude with NoDak plates in Tennessee. Gotta be.... pretty close to the least likely place for that to occur.

Captain Vasili Borodin never got his rabbit farm in Montana, but pigs in New Zealand is a decent fallback:
