Damn, that's some good lawyering.

I wonder how they got that hearsay in... present sense impression exception? That would explain why Amendola was so concerned about how long they waited to go into the room... no time lapse allowed between the event that happened and the actual statement that was hearsay (in this case, what the older janitor had said he saw).

Regardless, the prosecution appears to have this one locked down. We'll see what tricks Amendola has up his sleeve, but this is some pretty damning testimony.

Oh, and what a disgusting monster Sandusky is, as if we didn't know that already.

How could a current PSU footballer player even go into the Football facilities and showers? After reading about everything that is alleged as happened there I would be sick if I even had to go near those facilites. They need to tear that building down.

IMO. Argued for based on the assumption of fact produced by the Costas interview. The jury already had admissible evidence (the Costas interview) that touched on the subject of the janitor's story, therefore the judge decided it to be admissible in conjunction with Costas interview. At least that's how it seems to have worked, from the limited information we have.

Well this is making that Costas interview somehow look even worse.

Yeah but I was thinking about the other janitor testifying as to what the older janitor with dementia said. But what you said about the Costas interview makes sense.

I believe in some way that its fair to have some folks from PSU on the jury...seems like a mixture would represent a jury of his peers...

I agree with Rhode...this ain't Paterno. I'll add that some PSU folks believe this guy is the reason for a tarnished legend who is now a dead tarnished legend. Its easy to jump to the conclusion that this is really what killed Paterno...certainly ended his coaching career. Point is a PSU person is just as likely to have a vendetta...

And oh boy Jerry...the demographic in prison may be appealing...just hope you like being the victim too...lots of that coming your way...

This bastard needs to pay for these horrible crimes.....,this guy is an absolute POS. I pray to god that he is punished by the fullest extent of the law. Reading about the victims and the incidents are sickening and disheartening. My prayers go out to the victims....., I have nothing but respect for them and their courage to tell their stories.

Showering with young people sure, I can see it. *** raping them? Wasn't aware that was standard operating procedure.

I still can't believe Sandusky has claimed innocence this whole time.

I had/saw coaches shower around or with players here and there in football/baseball and such... and I never saw/heard of anything close to the charges against Sandusky... and even that (showering/exposing) was 'odd' enough for me...

BUT that was with 20 something coaches and 17 and 18 year old football and baseball players... never, ever, ever, ever were pre pubescent children around... honestly, has anyone else ever heard of anything like that?? This dog is not hunting...

whatever... it's pretty obvious where this case is going to end for the guy.

Now they need to get all the people who knew and could have stopped this monster. His wife needs to go to jail too.

For those of us that are parents (and also future parents), let this be a lesson to learn from by educating ourselves and our children as best we can. Teach them to never let an adult touch them inappropriately, and heaven forbid if they have to experience that hell, teach them to tell a parent right away, or go to the police. And if you are that parent or trusted adult who is told, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Do not ignore it and hope that it just goes away. So many adults in positions of authority failed these poor childern by not following through and doing the responsible thing, and to varying degrees share in this guilt. It is sickening.

Good News.

Anybody notice how quickly he went to trial? How quick the trial was? Don't know what was different but I'm glad it didn't drag out forever.
