I want to like them: gritty WWI color scheme; that frieze from the Basilica is one of my favorite parts of campus; and Rovell's stills look pretty solid.

But it looks atrociously bad in that video. And if I had to guess, the footage is likely a more realistic portrayal than some low-light shots from Rovell's phone...

I worry they will keep on getting worse as ND seems set on a "theme" for the jersey. Soon they will be stretching for significant things. I respect the themes they are currently using but would rather have them just make a badass looking uniform.

The jersey looks like Jimmie Foxx's Philadelphia Athletics jersey sitting in Cooperstown.

The helmet looks like amber with a bug trapped on the side from the Eocene.

As usual, the story is great but unlike '14's the colors are not exciting.

Looking for a play on this but replace the Nike neon with chrome gold outline over a chrome green font.

I don't hate the olive green idea given the military theme or the helmets but the colors overall are dull as ****. I wouldn't even compare them to Baylor's, they're even duller than my older brother's army service jacket after he came back from 'Nam.

I could use a safespace full of our 2013 shamrock series jerseys right about now.

These look like trash. All black with like fluorescent gold or kelly green would have looked awesome. Hard to believe someone actually approved these.

I think Rovell's low-light stills look good because the olive green comes across as almost gun-metal gray. Works pretty well with the gold accents. But in the video, the olive green really stands out, which is... bad.

Typically you see players and recruits commenting about the uniforms, usually positive stuff. I'm not seeing anything yet. Is that a bad sign? I don't have any new recruits followed on Twitter yet though.

I'm okay with the jersey for the most part. The helmet is a little too busy, but kind of neat. The rest...meh.

I wish the helmet gold would match the uni gold better, but that will forever be an issue just based on the fact that helmets can have metallic gloss to mimic the Dome, while cloth cannot.

C'mon, science! Catch up so the golds can match!
