I'm prepared for a long day of drinking and celebrating. ND wins convincingly, sucks everyone on the ledge back in, then squeaks by UMASS, putting everyone back on the ledge.

It's going to be very important to start strong and get up as big as possible early. Getting down will allow them to do exactly what they want, just run the ball. If we can start strong and put pressure on them to put the ball in the air we will be in business.

They were driving and had a bad turnover that was run back. Assuming they would have scored points on that drive, that's a 10-14 point swing. Could very easily be 20-28 right now; just didn't work out that way.

Maybe I'm ignorant, but in what way is Georgia Tech's offense a "spread" option? There's nothing spread about it. They line up under center with two or three running backs.
