Drinking warm beer is worse than eating a cold hot dog. ICE IT : )

Not warm but not to cold either, Guinness should never be brought below 40 degree tops (or should I say bottoms)!

What do you have against cold hot dogs? They make a great no muss, no fuss snack.

Think of beer as you do wines. Reds are served at room temperature, whites chilled. Icing a very dark beer like Guinness, dampens the body and the flavor. Chill the stout if you must, but don't kill it!

Coors Light might as well be water so go ahead and turn it into ice cubes.

Haha truth. That and it's cousin Keystone Light, which I think I drank more than water in college.

Quite a few years ago my (non-Irish and now ex) wife coaxed me into going to a Steak and Ale, of all places, to celebrate St. Patrick's day with a brother and sister of hers along with their spouses. I was slightly encouraged that they were serving Guinness.

The server brought it to me without a head and in a glass that had been iced in the freezer. I sent it back. In fact, I went with the server to talk with the bartender. It turns out that the barkeep had initially "pulled" a proper Guinness in terms of the thick and tasty head, but the server (clueless and thinking he was doing me a favor) had asked him to draw me a second without the head.

I let the server know that the creamy topping was an integral part of the drink and the bartender that it should never, ever, EVER be served in a frosted glass. The Guinness got better, but I refused to trust them with Corned Beef and cabbage and Irish Soda Bread. I went with a good old American cheeseburger (American cheese) with both fried and raw onions.

There's a place on campus that serves a Black & Blue, it's not with Blue Moon but instead with some Dogfish blueberry beer or whatever.

I swear to God, it is the most glorious drink on the face of the planet. I will find out when I get back to campus and report back haha

Might this be the glorious drink you're referring to?

Dogfish Head is a damn fine brewery.

I had a terrible dream last night that we lost this game 38-30. I have had a history about dreaming about Notre Dame and every time I dream about them they lose the next in reality.

Someone please convince me that Navy has no shot to win this game, because they really should'nt have shot to

Car Bomb per Irish TD was mine plan!

I had a friend tell me about the time he was in Ireland and he tried to order an Irish Car Bomb at the bar. Needless to say, it was frowned upon.

I can't convince you "they really should'nt have shot to" BUT I have a plastic bag and duct tape you can use to stop your dreaming affliction. Rest assured.

5:00am (MST) - Wake up, head butt the wall.

5:10am (MST) - Get high as the bejesus belt....

5:15am (MST) - S,S,S and put on ND gear head to toe.

5:45am (MST) - Eat this....
192238.jpg

6:15am (MST) - Drink three cups of coffee with Bailey's and Jameson

6:55am (MST) - Put up my Notre Dame flag onto the front of the house, stand in the very front of my yard holding a boom box blaring the Notre Dame fight song, and profess to my entire neighborhood that today..... yes today..... there will be an irish victory.
2012-05-09-say_anything_screen_grab.jpeg

7:00am (MST) - Begin watching our beloved Irish prison rape Navy in the homeland while pounding at least 12 Left Hand Milk Stouts.

10:00am (MST) - Puke in my bathroom while my wife yells disparaging remarks at me, since after all, she will have partaken in all of the previous events with me.
images

12:00pm (MST) - Eat corn beef and cabbage and drink stouts until I return to the bathroom.

5:00pm (MST) - What can I say, I have a high tolerance for stouts and cabbage. This is when I meet up with my terrible scUM fan friend and proceed to heckle him as Bama beats the dogsh!t out of his precious skunk bear.

7:00pm (MST) - After Bama scores their final and tenth touchdown, from another pick/six from Denard, I will proceed to fist fight my scUM friend and give him his second dose of bitter defeat in one day.

8:00pm (MST) - Get high as the bejesubelt and fall asleep.

Generally speaking, if a beer has to be consumed ice cold to be enjoyed, you shouldn't be drinking it.

Coors Light might as well be water so go ahead and turn it into ice cubes.

Drinking [insert American macrobrew] is like having sex in a canoe. It's f*cking near water.

But, but, but.... Notre Dame's not relevant! Why is ESPN wasting valuable TV time to broadcast ND across the world!?!?! I DON"T GET IT!

Having a lot of fans, doesn't make your team football relevant. Unless we happen to qualify for a bowl game. We travel well.
