Great size. Would love to read a little more about this kid to see why he deserved an offer over Gehrig Dieter...but I trust Kelly and Co know what they are doing.

Scout ranking #40 WR - 3*

Also added offers from Arizona St. and Oregon St.

Has ND and Michigan as early favorites. We should get an official visit.

College Football Recruiting 2012: Malik Gilmore Lists Notre Dame, Michigan Tops | Bleacher Report

He is playing in the SoCal 7 on 7 this weekend with teammate Bryce Treggs, who I'm sure will tell him about his awesome weekend visit to the dome.

From a shear talent perspective, Team Alliance Sports will be hard to top. Their wide receiver corps alone makes them a tournament favorite. Bryce Treggs, Justin Johnson, and Malik Gilmore headline the group for quarterback Ryan Medina. Defensively, linebacker C.J. Dozier is one of the best in the state.

Denbrock was at his school yesterday. Still targeting a visit in June. We are also showing interest in his teammate Daruis Powe.

GB, are you still confident that Gilmore is going to be Irish?

GB is an intuitive guy. Rest assured his intuition has paid dividends so far.

He earlier stated in another thread, paraphrased, he wanted to allow Gilmore the opportunity to have a special moment...

TIFWIW...

FWIW, I think Greenberry and Gilmore will both be Irish soon after their June visits.

No problem GB.

Does he compare to our two other commits in terms of size/speed/explosiveness?

hes got the size, gets good separation lacks the top end speed and explosiveness. I like Darboh and Treggs to fill out are other 2 wr spots.

Unless our WR recruiting completely implodes Gilmore's not a huge loss. We already have 2 outside WRs in Ferguson and Greenberry. At this stage it would be nice to add a slot WR to the mix. Wish him the best.

Gilmore can play, like Strobel, this isn't a killer loss. Still do not discount his ability.

Seriously?

See the Omar thread.

Lots of kids commit and still want to take visits. Then some have a change of heart/second guess their commitment. If ND is interested in him and he visits then ND will full-court press him because he is already someone elses.

Omar Hunter? I'll save myself the time of looking through the over 1,000 posts.

Going to take an unofficial visit to OSU June 27th. He may bring his buddy, ESPN No. 84 WR Darius Powe. They were hoping to commit together but Malik jumped the gun. Powe is also high on OSU.
