I've taken heat for this thread, even been accused of milking for my own personal gain.Lol thanks guys. Sorry for the mess I created. It was a regretful mess there too

Especially if Luke wasn't doing well or the passing game wasn't working. It'd be, "Russell would have locked him down" and "Daniels would be getting open there." Oh man we are lucky there's not "ifs" here.
Can I get a cut of his vbucks? I'm the poster on NDNation he was talking about when he started this thread....
lol AdmiralBackhand why did you neg me?
Interesting take on this on Power Hour. Basically said none of these dudes would start (possibly for the rest of the season) because that would completely screw up team chemistry and the people who have stepped in have played as good or better than any of the suspended players (see Cole Luke).
Opinion of him and Coach D. I must say I do agree.
I'd be shocked if DD couldn't find his way into the starting line-up within a week. He's just too talented. At best, KVR would come back and start. At worst, he'd be our nickel back and he'd play close to 40 snaps per game against most opponents. I doubt Ishaq would find his way into the starting lineup but he'd take quite a few snaps. Never hurts to have another defensive linemen in the rotation.
Some of you make me laugh out loud. DD>brown by miles n miles. KVR>every db in decades besides taylor. Roschell is not a 4/3 end unless he decides to shed pounds next year. Ishaq assuming he has his game face on>Isaac. Isaac belongs inside at this time.
DD hopefully is back today, tomorrow to get reps n gametime. Then play a significant role against fsu, it will mean more Fuller success having a real wr opposite.
So is their individual talent more important than the team chemistry? Or what's worked all year?
The secondary has faced:
Diphis Jackson
Devin Gardner
Danny Etling
Kevin Hogan
Terel Hunt
Not to sell the D short, because they have been great, but that ain't exactly a murderer's row. I think KVR's past/probable future impact is being understated because we have feasted on crappy QB's. This thread changes course if Winston or even Williams carves them up over the next two weeks.
Wow, don't look now but this thread is breaking out in a football discussion.
As ND made Devin Gardner in '13, they ended his season in '14. I felt bad for Hunt, too. This defense is taking some pretty good players and making them look mediocre (Williams) and feel pretty sore also!
I am surprised at ISD. The chemistry of this team is "Next Man In!" This is the perfect team and situation to work guys like that back in. Just keeps everyone fresher, and cuts the chance of injury. Playing 65 players a game; what a concept!
(That is why all the other teams are getting so worn down at the end.)
Here's the bottom line. The best players are going to play, regardless of what is happening now. If all five return, none will return as immediate starters. They will have to prove themselves in practice where the coaches will make evaluations of their progress in getting acclimated back into practice, conditioning, communications, etc.. When the coaches think they are ready they will get playing time. How much will depend on the coaches.
I think those two sentences back-to-back are kind of contradictory. It's quite possible that DaVaris and Russell come back and they ARE the best players at their positions, especially considering the fact that there are 5 DBs and three WRs on the field for almost every play. Here's the bottom line.
