OSU is apparently sending this to recruits:

Oh the irony!
I know. They're apparently unaware that (1) Ned's story does not end well; and (2) winter is not something to anticipate with excitement in Westeros.
And if we're playing A Song of College Football, ND is clearly Ned.

Congrats, the only thing worse than the Red Wedding, one of the most dramatic moments in TV history, is the reality of your ancestors' actions, violating guest rights and butchering a couple of kids.
Everyone's ancestors have slaughtered kids, ACamp. It is what it is. At least you're famous for it.
According to Tyrelle Pryor we are all robbers and murderers.
The Africans sold their rivals to the Muslims which kicked off the slave trade. I'd just like a half hour to educate Terrelle Pryor about some things...
That'd be an hour more than he got at OSU.
I know what is going to happen (more than a month ago) but it was a lackluster ending for me...
Well its hard to top last weeks episode, but the Arya Stark scene along with Ygritte shooting Jon snow were pretty good scenes. I also like the heated Lanister conversation early in the show.
Somewhat anticlimactic, but still good.
Question for those who read the books (I don't want to go over to the book thread cause I don't want anything ruined for me). I'm halfway through the first book, and now me and my buddies are having a debate. Didn't they say who Jon's mother was very early in the 1st book? Or did I misread that?
Jon Snow's parentage remains a mystery, as Eddard rarely spoke of the matter. When Catelyn confronted him about the rumor that Jon's mother was Ashara Dayne, Eddard would not answer.[23] Years later, when queried by Robert, he claimed that a lowborn woman named Wylla is Snow's mother.[24] Both possibilities have been mentioned by outside sources. Cersei Lannister believes his mother to be Lady Dayne[25], while Edric Dayne, who was wet-nursed by Wylla, told Arya that he and Jon are milk-brothers.[26]
According to Lord Godric Borrell, the daughter of the fisherman who tried to take Ned Stark from the Vale across the Bite to the North at the beginning of Robert's Rebellion, gave birth to Eddard Stark's bastard.[27]
Fans of the series speculate about his parentage, with a large number believing that his true parentage is likely to be Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. [28]
I think someone speculated very vaguely at some point who his mother was (Catelyn Stark perhaps?) but I don't recall Jon's mother being named specifically.

That would be crazy. Lyanna is Ned's sister?
Somewhat anticlimactic, but still good.
