Yes all sites get them. In fact if you had any sort of IT admin experience you would be surprised at the amount of crap that exists underneath the top layer of the internet.
I have a friend that spends a great amount of time working spam filters for his email servers and the amount of stuff he sees is staggering.

Its like a flu virus. Constantly changing and shifting.

I think the Bots hang out as guests too. I'm battling insomnia and was viewing a random recruiting thread buried 5 or 6 pages deep in the recruiting forum and every time I clicked on a new page the number of guests increased. I was fascinated by this and just kept clicking the next page to see how the number of guests would change. The number increased each page and eventually the number reached 79 before there were no more pages in the thread. I clicked out of it and clicked back in 2 minutes later and there were 3 guests. Anyway, no way there's 750+ guests currently online and now I feel like I'm being followed by random guest Bots everywhere I go.
