My guess is that since the investigation is complete, the Admin pretty much knows what the punishment for these kids is going to be. The hearings will just be a formality. I think they submitted their findings and self-imposed penalties (if there are any) to the NCAA and are waiting to hear back from them.
Just my guess. Gotta hear back from NCAA before the academic hearings and punishments. Wouldn't make sense for them to clear anyone just to have the NCAA deem them ineligible after seeing the findings of the investigation.

I disagree as any academic punishment for misconduct is not subject to the NCAA regulations. Academic Misconduct is the domain of the university. The questions are prior seasons possible ineligibility and any institutional tie an employee part time or otherwise. Both seem to require the Honesty Committee to make their determination of events and eligibility first.
A minor infraction gets an zero on an assignment, a more flagrant offense gets a zero in the course, repeat offenses, etc get you tossed from school. Now if such a grade reduction from summer school rendered an athlete academically ineligible for the '14 season there is no vacating as the athletes haven't played so far this year.
