What I was getting at LAX was the fact that in that situation, many whom seem to have very strong feelings about many things such as "complying" or the reaction of people to these situations, or even Kaepernick's protest didn't have much to say about it. Just saying I find it strange how tight-lipped we can be in some situations and enraged in others
Yeah, I mean, I think that sort of comes with the territory of it being a non-homogeneous message board. Got a lot of different people on this board from different walks of life. So when Tulsa happened, that day someone posted the incident in that thread and then there were a half dozen posts condemning it... including a few from guys I know you could put into the "pro cop" category. I don't think there's much room for debate on that incident, most agree it looks like murder.
The Charlotte thing... we don't have a lot of facts yet (at least from what I've seen), but the community reaction is eerily similar to Milwaukee. You've got a black cop shooting a black guy, and then destructive/violent rioting, and no one knows yet if the shooting was justified. So I think it elicits a lot of conflicting emotion from a lot of different sides, whereas something like Tulsa is less "controversial" and more clear cut.
Because they know they arent getting jack from the black community. Their best recourse is to raise caine on the white man who history has shown will buckle to stop the fussing and give them more things that they want for free. At which they will run down and start the cycle over again
We have pretty loose standards in the Lep Lounge, but this post is pretty darn offensive on a lot of levels to a lot of people on this board, so I'm going to ask you turn down the rhetoric a bit.
