Pixar was founded as a division of LucasFilm in 1979. Lucas sold it to Steve Jobs in 1986. Disney bought it from Jobs in 2006. Then Disney bought LucasFilm in 2012, bringing the whole thing full circle.

Aladdin is right there. Genie is probably the best/funniest character in any Disney movie ever. I put the soundtrack on par with Beauty and just below Lion King.

That's comparing a movie that came out recently to one from the early nineties. Box office numbers are much bigger across the board right now than they were then. Aladdin and Beauty came out a year apart.
