2014: Overrated

Couldn't find a thread where we tell teams they suck, but TCU is one of them. WVU has 4 turnovers and is still beating TCU in the 3rd quarter. They wouldn't score more than 20 on us IMO, and we'd have 1,000 yards rushing against them.

They're definitely not #7 IMO.

Christian Hackenberg is the most overrated player in College not even close. Georgia is defaintly one team that is overrated. Losing to Florida 24-7.

I don't think he's downright horrible, but I'm with you on Hackenberg. I'm glad I'm not a fan of the team that has 2 more years of him to look forward to.

I always hate throwing stones, because in football anything can happen in one singular week.

But yeah, TCU and MSU are by far the two most overrated teams in the country IMO. I also don't think Auburn is actually any good. And Ole Miss is absurdly one dimensional, but that one dimension is almost a trump card against 80% of teams.

No kidding. TCU can't move the ball at all and Geogia is getting run all over.

Hackenberg looked much better as a Freshman, which probably has more to do with coaching and offensive scheme. Although, I believe he is overrated because of the amount he is talked about compared to his success.

The Big 12 has not fielded a worthy defense in like 10 years it seems. Hopefully Charlie Strong changes that because I personally don't like watching basketball on turf. The Pac 12 is similar in that there defenses are pretty bad other than Stanford. Big Ten is atrocious. SEC has BEASTS running all over the place and can't be touched.

Really college football seems a lot more even this year than ever before, and parity is all over the place. I wouldn't be surprised to see no undefeated teams at the end of the season, and multiple two loss teams. There are literally no complete teams, like a Alabama 2012 or Florida State 2013.

I think WVU is much better than anyone wants to say. Baylor struggled in Morgantown and now so is TCU. Maybe its the travel distance but WVU gave Alabama everybit of a game as well.
