Very very true. Hope you have a good co-pilot.
I've made the ATL to SB drive many times with and without a copilot.
5 Hour Energy and Mountain Dew were my best friends many of those nights.
Be safe Wiz

Mountain Dew and Nestle Crunch Bar for me in those situations. Though I found a new energy drink that is excellent, Celsius.

Snickers for me, although I would never, ever, turn away from Nestle Crunch Bar. I actually make my own Mega Drink. Extra large drink cup from QT or Racetrac filled with Pepsi and Mt Dew + 5 Hour Energy.

Makes me feel like

AC on full blast (or the windows rolled down, depending on how cold it is outside) and aggressive music were my go-to tricks when I had to drive tired.

AZ to South Bend straight through in 25 hrs

I just attended a session with my daughter for perspective students the week of the Miami OH game. Admissions says that the average distance an ND student travels to attend the university is 750 miles. Made my trip from PA seem short.

4,318 miles, chief.

Sunflower seeds. Don't know why, but they keep me awake and driving.

This is what I hear from guys who drive a ton for work. Must be the chewing with the calories, or else gum would do the trick.

The longest at one time I've gone is 16 hours, and I just stopped for lunch + a coffee when necessary. I guess I made that trek a couple times this summer; note to y'all: BGI's podcast does not really do a great job of keeping you awake through rural Arkansas.

I drove 10 hours to my brother's place. Sunflower seeds, 2 Red Bulls and I only stopped once for gas. Somehow never even went to bathroom. The seeds must dehydrate a bit as well.

Stay strong.

I can barely make the 4.5 hour trip back to KY after a 3:30pm game without falling asleep.

Rex aka Mr. Steal Your Position

Getting through today will be tough. I've got nothing to do at work but watch compliance videos...luckily I'll probably have a great, fast liquid lunch

so their top 3 interior DL are all out?

Green is playing. Gustin and Fatu are out but Gustin's replacement, Christian Rector, is playing well. I haven't watched him much but most believe he's an upgrade over Gustin.

A freshman is replacing Fatu. Drive his ass backwards, get a helmet on Cam Smith and run down hill on them. They'll quit.

Rector is monster. Tied for 4th nationally in sacks. If he's not an upgrade, I'd hate to play against Gustin.

Tomorrow's gonna be brutal. I think I'm going to try and cook something because I'll be too wound up to just enjoy the Saturday.

Yep it will be a long freaking day waiting for game time. Weather here is nice so getting in 18 holes might help.
