So sad ND is in the shape it's in. I've been preaching it since the end of last season, Stanford and MSU don't have the horses on their lines they used to.

ND has talent, it just has Pop Warner coaching.

Someone will suck worse next Saturday, hope it's Stanford. A lot of important kids coming in for the game.

I was not happy to see Stanford get destroyed this weekend. Now they are going to play with fire.

This is my thought as well. Maybe we will luck out and they will play like crap since they pretty much lost out on playoffs and Pac 12 championship. Though I really can't see them losing three games in a row

I don't get this.

It's because Stanford's defense has looked like ND's as of late and the Stanford offense in perfect weather has been similar to what ND's was during the recent hurricane.

Fire David Shaw!!

Lol. During the Washington State game there were all kinds of shots of the crowd with Stanford fans reading the news paper and or surfing on their mobile devices instead of watching the game.

It sure is a pisser that Stanford finally hits a bump in the road, but we end up simultaneously falling into a crevasse.

I think it depends how we play (obviously). If we come out like we want to win, especially if we can get up by a couple of scores early, I think we handle them. They don't have the ballplayers they've had, especially on offense.
Of course if we dick around like we have most games this season, all bets are off. And if they get a couple of breaks and go up early, ugh.
But this is a game we certainly can and probably should win. Despite the current dumpster fire.

Our current dumpster fire hasn't lost a game by more than a possession, their dumpster fire was just demolished by a team that lost to an FCS program.

Kizer and Co could have a field day against a defense that WSU set on fire.

It was pretty funny seeing Washington State going for it on fourth and goal from the 15 or so yard line and still scoring.

This is why I have hope for next season. Usually young teams, which we are this year, that lose a bunch of close games in a season; will then find ways to win the close games the following year.

There's nothing wrong in having hope in next year. What's the worst one would have to wait? 108 years? Eventually a next year gets here.

It's over. Set up the parade barriers. Shark had to beat them in Game 2 for SF to win.

Couldn't come at a better time, ND and the Bears are making for a sh!t fall and at least 2/3 of my friends aren't on the ledge.

Thank goodness the Hawks are back on Wednesday.

Ugh. They were closer in 2003 and still blew it. I'll never give up hope.

Absolutely. ZERO percent chance the Cubs don't march to the title now. There is literally no other outcome that could happen.

Stanford has had their poop pushed in two games in a row. ZERO percent chance they don't win to break that streak. There is literally no other outcome that could happen.

#doinitright (still have that Walter Payton record from KFC where he sings that awful song)

Contrary to the widespread weeping and gnashing of teeth around on the board, with a decimated secondary to start the season, ND lost by 3 in OT, lost by 8, lost by 3 ... and all games were winnable. ND will have to track meets but no opponent can be beat. Unfortunately most could win.

The secondary isn't going to turn into Shane Walton and Bobby Taylor overnight BUT if just the team tackling improves they don't have to.

IF SU plays like they did tonight we'll win by double digits.

Finally someone who is paying attention to college football. Good post BGIF

ND is the best 2-4 team in the history of 2-4 teams, we win.

And because Stanford isn't that good.
