I was just looking through the running back rankings on 247. Florida Atlantic landed a commitment from the #3 running back in the country, he is #53 overall. His name is Jordan Scarlett; he has offers from Bama, LSU, Clemson, Ohio State, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and many other very good schools.

Sucks, I always wonder why we didn't get involved here. ISD had an article awhile back about all his ND ties and how he wanted an offer.

I think the main issue is that he's a guard prospect and we really only want a tackle (if we're even taking 3 OL). I would've liked him as I think he could've also played DT... plus he's just an overall really good prospect. Oh well.

Like last year, quarterbacks are committing early. At last year's elite eleven, I believe Sean White was the only uncommitted participant, and he committed to Auburn shortly after the event. Early April, and only Brady White(calif.), Torrance Gibson(Amer Heritage), and Kyler Murray(Allen) are still available.
