Actually, fun fact while we're at it, the dude who does War of the Roses got his show run out of Cincinnati because he *allegedly* beat his wife and then outed a bunch of confidential legal info about their divorce on the air one day in a meltdown.

So in addition to being a phony, he's also a general piece of trash.

I think he #DidItForTheRatings, but iHeart Radio wasn't about that life.
That's why you need to boycott iHeart and find something locally owned, regardless of the genre.

There's a study currently going on in my household that says women want to avoid any kind of work when the kids are young.

You're actually on to something here. I think a lot of gender and racial issues we're living through today are the product of old timers who actually did grow up in a system that was inequitable to women and black folks. I really can't blame someone like John Lewis for seeing the country through the lens of racism because, for much of his life and especially his formative years, the country was a racist place. But issues arise when folks who are stuck in 1962 pass on that tainted view of our society to the next generation.

I'm a bit less charitable to Mr. Lewis. When you grow up in a place in time where it is common place for your person and your character to be assailed for something that isn't your choice...

You have a responsibility to use your story as the most powerful of motivations for more progress...Hope to those standing behind you.

At times Mr. Lewis fails to do so...WHY? What NOW in his life would allow him to stifle progress for generations that follow with his bitterness and hyperbole?

Maybe folks like Mr. Lewis...true living Icons, should not do politics. I do know so few can be John Lewis...feel like he isn't the best one he could be.

lulz, I'm smart because I use words like cisphobia, here's why: if you like women, you should also like women with a penis or you are probably carrying some repressed bigotry.

After listening for 90 seconds, that's what I got. Am I close?

The point being: women electrical engineers are paid less (etc.) than male electrical engineers.

And so on and so forth.

No. That's not the point at all. Hoff-Sommers research appears to show that they are paid the same.

Wouldn't you kinda have to? There is one less opening...

Reminds me of an old episode of Martin. He and some buddies were playing poker with Garrett Morris' character and somebody mentioned Rue Paul. Morris said, "Whew, that Rue Paul... now there's a tall tree I'd like to climb" and Martin said something about the branch Garrett would have to get around.

The Cosmo article is flawed in so many ways it's laughable.

If female orgasms are bad and a feminist's worst nightmare, I'm extremely sexist then.

Ways to increase the "wage gap" 101.

I wouldn't ever hire a woman if this was the case. Not because sexism, but because I'm not going to hire people I'm legally required to pay to not work 1/9 of workdays per month. (3/~27 workdays) The fraction is actually probably much smaller than that.

If I'm required to just give them those days off? Maybe. But no small business should have to pay someone to not work unless it was negotiated the business and the employee prior to hiring them.

Wouldn't the amount of leg shown be a problem in a Muslim country?

Pretty positive it goes against the entire point of the garb.

Perhaps the picture is meant to suggest a powerful, beautiful woman could step out of her niqab. That the veil covers what is underneath. Not just looks, but power and strength.

I don't know though. Just spitballing.
