I think we can measure her concern for kids based on where she sent her own kid. At the time she sent him to Ohio State, it was VERY clear what and who Urban is....that is if you are concerned about learning and facts more than you are about "being heard". We all KNOW why he chose Ohio State... Fix the shit under your own roof momma Apple. ND is just fine, and your boy is where he belongs.

Great post. But she can still go choke on a full bag of whale dong.

I don't think he was trying to slight ND or Kelly. I think he was trying to show how mad Pitt fans were at Kelly for what he did. Why the OP is trying to do this I don't know.

Idiots misusing the term PC once again.

Not only is it used for anything morons don't agree with, it's showing up in ridiculous places.

Enjoy your rep.

Where was the thread with Eli Apple's mom? We should just merge this thread and that. It's all just bitching about Kelly shoving Grimes.

I tried to find it this morning but no luck. It needs to go somewhere.

EDIT: Moved.

Lol @Pittsburgh people. Did you guys see the one where they said Weis never swore at players? They said we keep BK because all we care about is winning. Well, no, that's not true. Kelly also:

1) Has players who avoid confrontations with the law.
2) Graduates his players.
3) is liked by his players
4) Plays the 'ND game' well: admissions, recruiting, alumni events, etc.

If all we cared about was winning, I can think of some practices we might have changed by now.

Annie Apple sounds like a character on a kid's TV show who would wear an apple costume and paint their face red. GTFO.

What an idiot. He already failed the first test, which is "will this guy run and squeal all our internal franchise matters to the media?"

Serious? I love that he exposed a stupid question.

I would absolutely ask that question to get a feel for his attitude on the subject. I can't speak to falcons' motivation there. But as mentioned previously, his external response gives you an idea how the kid views himself and the role of team/franchise member. If he failed to challenge the interviewer, and went external with his criticism, he is a "Do Not Draft".

...Is it possible he got angry at the question because he is a homophobic ass, and it showed...and maybe is trying to "fix it" now?

...there are actually good reasons to ask that question. If he did not deal with it correctly, it will cost him.

I don't think his external response was actually a "run and squeal" as mentioned above.

He was interviewed about his interviews (redundant), and mentioned that they straight up just asked him if he was gay. He said that he thought they were just probably trying to see how he would respond. So he was aware of their motives, and it didn't seem like his intent was to blast them for it.

Who knows though. Maybe he really was upset, and is just good at keeping his cool while outing the offenders?

Then you ask him "how would you feel about having a teammate who is gay?" The question, as posed, is awful.

Why is it stupid/awful? The questions these guys get asked are all designed to get a response/reaction and then the club looks at that response/reaction and judges the person on it. Just because they asked the question doesn't necessarily mean they think he is homosexual. They want to see his response to a stimulus. They are just taking a psychological look at him and seeing if they like his responses or not. They probably want to know if he goes:

The US Govt has determined that question is illegal to ask an employee/job applicant
no
NO!
hahahaha no way
your mother/wife didn't think so last night
F no
F U MF
shoves chair away from the table and physically confronts questioner

Do you believe there is no validity to that? Do you think you get the same read on a player if you instead asked "how would you feel about having a teammate who is gay?"

I could be wrong as to why they asked, but hearing some of the stories the players relate from the interview process over the years, that is my educated guess and why I don't believe the question to be stupid.
