.
For anyone planning on attending the Wake Forest game in Charlotte in September, single game tickets are now on sale through Wake Forest. Only posting here because of how early.

its not supposed to be but it certainly seems like we play them more than the other ACC teams. Maybe there was an existing deal out there with wake when we signed the ACC deal but why haven't they compensated for that?

Will be interesting to see how Wake is in the post Clawson era after he goes to MSU.

Hope Lea doesn't have a warm spot for his former employer.

Wake would have been a sneaky, tricky out last year but I think they've lost too much fire power to lose any sleep over this year. That's a big hit for them, but that young man will be a weapon on Sundays.

This makes way more sense. Wasn't sure why they were still planning on have both teams travel to a neutral site.

An empty stadium might actually be more intimidating; I'm sure the visiting players laugh when they see about 10,000 fans in that HS stadium.

When the location was posted I looked it up and found a minor league baseball stadium and was like...okay...COVID? Then I looked again and there are 5 sports stadiums in NC with Truist in the name (Truist Park (MLB baseball), Truist Field at Wake Forest, Truist Field (minor league baseball), Truist Stadium (minor league baseball), Truist Stadium (NC A&T football). I imagine at least 1 person has driven to the wrong place on google maps and been very upset.

Don’t know much about Wake but while we were able to dominate USF with some of our guys out I hope we can keep that momentum. I’d assume they’re better than USF.

They are HORRIBLE on defense. I've watched them the last 2 weeks, and boy...

You ain't lyin'. NCSt ram 49 times for 270 yards. Wake's D isn't stopping us.

Their offense is good but they are short pass oriented, probably because their OLine sucks.

Another game where we dominate the LOS both ways.

So we’re gonna have at least 10 players out because of COVID or contact tracing. Not great

where did you hear that? ND had 7 players out vs USF.

From ND's release on testing data from last week (pre-USF).

They had four players test positive. Six others in quarantine due to contact tracing.

I guess the good news is that we have a bye-week after WF. Hopefully the guys stay diligent and at the very least we can get the isolated contact trace players back healthy, if not the others.

As previously stated, better now than later in the schedule. Gives us time to get this mini-breakout time to level out before cancellation becomes a serious option.

It's just dumb that ND's protocol for contact tracing is 7 days while the ACC's is 2 weeks. So six players who have not tested positive for COVID-19 before the USF game can't even play against Wake because that is what ACC protocol is, but these students can return to class after 7 days. How does that make any sense?
