Agree. When was the last time you heard someone say they are angry? Your words and actions typically let everyone know you're pissed without having to announce it.
Every time I see the clip all I can think is Chris Farley on the hidden camera coffee exposé. Not during the rampage (which is definitely what BK thought he looked like when he was doing it). When he's being interviewed after.

I liked BK more when he was angry. Felt more like he cared, those were some of the coaches I grew up with. Felt like he caved to media pressure. I'm all for the return of purple faced BK.
Agree - apathetic BK was terrible. "Golly, I don't know why we're losing....maybe I need to coach more gooder butttttttt I can only recruit down THIS aisle"

Agreed but that “angry moment” he had in that press conference was bullshit. He wasn’t angry he was just acting like it

SEC "powers" like LSU are going to have to get comfortable with 8-4 to 10-2 records as "good" seasons. There are just too many good programs to expect 10 or 11 wins every single year.

The expectation adjustment period is going to be hellish for coaches.
I think the adjustment period for being satisfied with 10 wins will be basically immediate because it will probably be rewarded with a playoff appearance and possibly even a conference championship.

8-4 on the other hand...

2017 Reesus returns to his alma mater to coach QBs, we immediately go on to win 10 games every season he's here except Freeman's 1st year, plus two playoff appearances.
Timeline adds up, theory confirmed. Reesus saves!
Only think Rees is saving is his unemployment checks

Agree with the above, Zoloft BK is just not as entertaining. Purple faced BK was refreshingly unpredictable. Peak PF BK was 2011 against USF.

Sucks about their RB, he was one of their best performers.

They have 4 straight games to get right before the gauntlet of their season.

imo

It got stale....the Rees was hired, 2.0 happened and then they went on the best multiple seasons run in 30 years......then he left because he wanted more from the university.

It was starting to get stale again, but the casual sarcasm with sideline reporters was fun.

You were warned.
Y’all were correct. Hey, I’ll eat crow and admit it, but I didn’t hire the fuck.

Obviously, I like and pull for ND too and follow the team. The one thing I vividly remember about BK at ND is he never assembled a complete team. Something was always missing. For example, the offense was great, but the defense was piss poor. Alternatively, ND would field a stout defense, but the QB and offense sucked.

Given that LSU is arguably easier to recruit, I didn’t expect us to have those issues. Big mistake …. Here we are, in year 3, with a dogshit secondary, inadequate (albeit, improved) defense…our special teams cost us many games in previous years (thanks to his good buddy). It’s like he never learns.
