Anyone eyeing any deals? For me just a couple video games other than that I don't like battling the crowds very much.

I got my TV three years ago, my Dyson two years ago, and my deep freezer last year.

Gonna keep it light with Blu-rays and video games this year. Maybe a new crockpot.

The only big thing I might look at would be a drone to mess around with at the local parks. But I haven't researched enough yet for that.

Pretty much the same here. Might spring for a PS4 Pro if there are any good deals to be had.

Thinking about a new basement TV - Vizio M-series 4K Ultra HD 65" going to be under $1K at a couple joints. Seriously considering that.

I think a drone would be a great idea if you're into filmography. Personally, a drone over $50 isn't worth it to me. It'd be one of those things that I use for 2-3 months (if?) and never use again. Maybe it'd be different if I had kids?

That's the other side of the coin; I have to convince myself that I will continue to use it. We do a decent bit of travelling, so it would be cool to take it on the road and get cool pictures and videos of the landscapes wherever we go.

This drone may end up being pricey, but potentially worth it when those damn neighbor kids keep coming into your yard.

You take it on vacation to the Grand Canyon and your pumped (does anyone else still use that term?) to get some one of a kind pics with your new toy. You fly it out about 100ft from the edge when it sputters and takes a nose dive straight to the bottom of the canyon. Do you think to yourself WTF just happened or do you tell your wife you'll be back in about 3 hours after you try to find the wreckage?

Haha I am absolutely going on an adventure to the bottom of the Grand Canyon to see the aftermath and pay my respects (and to cry over the money I lost).

The "WELL ACTUALLY" answer is that the drone has an auto-hover function that keeps it in place if it stops receiving input, as well as an automatic "Return to Launch Point" function. If the drone's battery is low and has limited flight time remaining, or if it loses connection to the remote, it will automatically return and land at the point it was launched from before running out of battery and/or crashing.

The drone doesn't have a lift capacity high enough for the armament I would like anyway, so I've given up hope on militarizing the thing.

At the cost of some of those drones, they should include a black box and crash diagnostics!

Maybe something lightweight...like a militarized aerosol spray (short range) of a level 4 biohazard?

Perhaps small poisonous tipped darts?

Tiny laser for short term blinding?

92" Mitsubishi DLP 3D 1080p HDTV - Sam's Club

I have the 82" model and love it. They don't make these anymore though. Picture is actually really good. Only downside is you have to change the bulbs every 3 years, but they're easy to do. Don't get much bigger than this without using a projector!
