Great cliff hanger. Chuck never disappoints.
Good stuff tonight. A little predictable (Saul getting duped), but overall outstanding show. Who the hell is tailing Mike? Wish the season was longer. No chicken man.... :-(
Has to be Gus who left the note

What happened guys? Nothing on the first two episodes?
I wish it would pick up a little bit,
Miles better than Breaking Bad IMO.
Yes, please.
No way.
I was gonna say it doesn't even sniff Breaking Bad's ass so far.
So, just caught up on that last episode...
Not really sure which direction the ruling is gonna go. Maybe some type of "no contest" or something? Chuck admitted to lying to get Jimmy on tape, so Jimmy counters that he was lying because Chuck was acting crazy.
That was brilliant. Then actually SHOWING that Chuck isn't really sick?
Maybe they rule that Chuck is incompetent mentally and can no longer practice, but ruining his brother's career makes Jimmy untouchable to any big firm, which is why he becomes Saul Goodman?

Jimmy already tried the "big firm" route with D&M. He wants to build his career from the ground up.
As for the ruling, Chuck's condition will almost certainly rule out the tape as being used as evidence. It is clear that Chuck's condition makes Jimmy's words invalid, as it's very realistic that he said it to calm Chuck, who has and continues to show symptoms of major mental trauma.
This doesn't mean Jimmy's off the hook, as he still faces discipline for breaking and entering as well as destruction of property.
But it does make sense to unleash Saul Goodman now. Sure, his practice will be temporarily suspended and he'll likely get it back, but that extended hiatus could result in him losing all his clients. The question remains, what does Saul Goodman mean to Jimmy? What does he gain by going under the guise of Goodman?
If he goes Saul Goodman now he cant work in the place he is working with his partner. She wont go for that and I think its too early for Saul to show up. Whatever it is I think ultimately Saul doesnt show up until after whatever it is has him working at Cinnabon.
I am guesing something really bad happens that has him in either witness protection or he is legally in trouble where he is hiding and none of that has happened yet.
The Cinnabon time-frame is after fleeing Albuquerque in the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad. It's a running joke from Breaking Bad that if the shit every really hit the fan, he'd be managing a Cinnabon in Omaha, if he's lucky, best case scenario. So while I agree it's too early to go full blown Saul, that element would not fit chronologically.

That's part of what I enjoy most about Better Call Saul, we literally have little to no idea what happens in the journey from Jimmy to Saul (sans that a few relationships have to develop into what we ultimately knew; Mike and Gustavo, etc.).

Thats right. How did I forget that.... shesh. Nevermind me
Are we SURE that's how it works out, though?
I know Saul had to blow that pop stand after BB, and he looks old enough in the Cinnabon scenes...
But he could also have been speaking from experience in BB, and the Cinnabon thing was on the way to full-out Saul Goodman.
Doesn't he watch the old TV ads after a shift at Cinnabon?
