Anyone think Lalo would be a solid candidate for a spin off? He has the personality.
I would love that.

We have, but I thought up until this season that it was mostly just her going along with Jimmy and that at some point Jimmy would take it too far and cross a line that Kim wouldn't follow. Her wanting to go after Howard has even shocked Jimmy.
Not surprised by slippin' Kimmy to be honest. I also don't think she survives the final season. IMO, her end will be a big part of the ugly ending of the series.
I agree with all the Lalo love, however if there was a spin off, I'd prefer it be Gus. His back story seems really interesting.
And yes, a little disappointed in the season finale. Not bad at all, just a ton of slow burn, and not a lot of answers.
We already know a lot of his backstory and unless they use a much younger actor I don't see him carrying a show as the lead guy. His schtick would get boring quickly as the focus of a season.
I want to see young chicken man.... pre-chicken. They could flash forward once in a while to older Gus. I disagree on knowing a lot of his backstory. We've only received a few nuggets about him pre-BB and pre-BCS. His whole rise in Chile and connection to Pinochet could be examined, as well as his move to Mexico leading up to his partner Max getting shot by Hector and Don Eladio.
I just don't think he's enough of a charismatic character to carry a whole show. Plus how could you even doa show that early chronologically? Giancarlo Esposito is already 61.
But in terms of Esposito, I absolutely think he's got enough charisma to carry a show, but I'd only use him if at all in flash forwards. 95% is a young actor coming up.
In the flash forwards he would need to be a sort of a marvel character because half his face was blown off when Don Hector exploded him. I am liking this idea.
LOL, I'm talking about more the time frame around him moving to the US from MX after they kill his partner. That would be the latest I'd cover. I'm most interested in his rise in Chile, his history with Pinochet, and move to MX (all as a young Gus)
I am down with any spin offs. I trust these writers like I trust Clark Lea. I do suspect they will be somewhat tired of the BB universe.
