Haha that was great. I was wondering the whole time why that episode was called "Cobbler"

I just love all the "morally flexible" things Saul does.

Yeah, that show gets better every week! I think it might end up being better than BB before it's over.

I am thinking next week Tuco is back and hopefully to stay

I'm thinking it will be a while before Tuco emerges. I mean, the cards were returned so no need to pull him back at this moment. I'm thinking Tuco screws up at some point, later, maybe even next season, and then is brought to Saul by Mike.

This is a show that needs to be owned by Netflix so the episodes come out at once.

I'm behind on the DVR but "Hoboken Squat Cobbler" is the hardest I've laughed in ages.

I fell behind and just got done watching the last 2 episodes.

Boy did I pick a hell of a time to do that. At first, you remember Chuck and his douche-baggery by side-swiping Jimmy when he was this close to becoming a partner at HHM. But now, things are coming full circle. Jimmy's methods and beliefs within the confines of the bar are working about as well as a Michigan alumni dinner in Columbus, Ohio.

Sh*t is getting real and fast.

Was just going to post how I can't believe how good this show is. Looks like we're all on the same page.

I wish it would pick up a little bit, but awesome. I don't think Mike puts Hector in the wheelchair like some are speculating.

I think Kim finds out what Jimmie did and Saul is created

I am sure Kim knows what he did. When he asks to talk about it. She says "Not now or ever."

Kim definitely knows. What happens to Kim is perhaps my #1 answered question. Does she die? Does she go to jail? I'm guessing Saul does something that fucks her over.

Miles better than Breaking Bad IMO.

I don't know if I'd say "miles better" but I do think it's better. But I'm also not sure how much of that is due to everything we know about Breaking Bad. I don't think it would be as good without Breaking Bad.

Amen

I think at this point in each show BCS is better. I remember BB starting super slow and being kinda average before working itself into a fever pitch towards the end. BCS is starting slow too, but it's a different type of slow. I don't really know how to describe it.

I could never agree that BCS is better than breaking bad. Breaking bad had so much set up and foresight that you couldn't predict. Both are great, but anyone who has BCS over bb is bananas.

I'm always waiting for 'something' to happen. like, 'as soon as they get past this, something is going to happen.'

then its the end of the episode

I agree in the long run BCS would have to do something amazing to ever pass BB. However I think pound for pound if you just compare seasons 1 & 2 of both shows without factoring in the last three seasons of BB then BCS is slightly ahead a this point. I think part of it for me is that I already cared for Saul from the jump.

This. Jimmy will definitely cause her demise and it will be what turns him into Saul...IMO.

Don't think BCS is better but it's easier to watch IMO. The wife will watch BCS but couldn't sit thru the drugs, violence and seediness of BB. I think it's great that first Cranston gets the BB role of a lifetime and elevates from from his Seinfeld cameos asTim Watley and one Odenkerk goes from cameos on Everybody Loves Raymond and Seinfeld to Slipping Jimmy. When do we find out how he got his nickname?

Prediction: he gives up practicing law under his birth name as part of his jerkoff brother leaving Kim alone. The brother also blames his Jimmy for taking money from his dad's till when I think his mom had a problem.

Just wish we had 10 more episodes to kill the time between now and August. Will just need to finish the new season of House of Cards. At least the USC fans out here in SoCal have Dancing with the Stars to keep themselves busy.

He was already using that nickname in season one when he was doing the rolex con with his fat buddy from "Last Man on Earth".

Also mentions that his brother is a formidable opponent. Make sure the t's are crossed and i's dotted. She knows and she is fine with it which is why the practices are separate.

You must have never watched him as the father (Hal) in "Malcolm in the Middle". All time great character. It's the reason I was in on BB from the first episode.

Another big unanswered question is how does Jimmy's brother get to where he is now. There was a flashback where he was married and now he clearly is not.

Someone mentioned it earlier but why is Salamanca in a wheelchair? Another big one.

I just love the show because the dialogue is perfect. Mike and Saul are perfect leads because they are both "criminals" who are really smart but each one accomplishes his goals using completely different methods.

I disagree with the implication that Breaking Bad got better as the show went along. Watching WW's descent was fascinating, but by the end he was just a miserable cuss with no redeeming characteristics. I didn't care about him or what happened to him in the slightest by the end.

Good stuff tonight. A little predictable (Saul getting duped), but overall outstanding show. Who the hell is tailing Mike? Wish the season was longer. No chicken man.... :-(
