Can confirm. As he said later, this is the post that I replied to as soon as I saw the guy got banned and everyone was wondering what happened, myself included.

Agreed, we were asked by Pham to be moderators. We were not voted into position or anything. What should be remembered is that we were all posters before we were moderators, and we still very much are posters before we are moderators. We just get tasked with cleaning up threads, reorganizing posts, and occasionally reprimanding users.

Even when ND started to look like a legit playoff contender, he would have been unhappy/inconsolable, and would have called at least seven different posters variations of the female anatomy during arguments about whether or not ND was a top-4 team.

HOWEVER, he also would also have left himself some breathing room, probably through some absolutely insane comparison and/or obscure evidence, that way he would have had an "out" in case ND did the improbable and made the playoffs.

He would have still been unhappy on the inside, and would then maintain that it was a joke that ND was included because any sane person knows that top teams don't have any flaws whatsoever.

It is also probable that he would have been banned when Bruce Jenner decided to identify as a female.

I'll even offer up myself as sacrifice to try this. If said poster who was reenacted gets banned again, then I will be banned with them!

I'm kinda of the opinion that the mods don't get paid, and they are pretty fair, if their process has resulted in ejecting someone permanently, its kinda a slap in the face to bring them back by popular demand.

That said anytime the mods gather and decide to let Pat back in...I'd be good with it...:)

You actually haven't been that much trouble since you came back so I'd be against it. Always like more posters...as long as they're moderately civilized.

Damnit Rocket, I wasn't being serious. You were the post almost directly above when I was posting. Now you went and made me feel bad and stuff.

I'm sure you are a perfectly good poster. Don't hide in a cavern, stay and play. We have another month of this fun before we find out if Kelly sucks or if we're the best team that ever lived -- I'm paraphrasing future posts on Jan 1st around 6 pm.

Guy has 60 posts and 90% of them were trolling, insulting, or otherwise starting shit with people. That's why he had the rep bar he did and probably a bunch of previous infractions.

That was my take on it. Someone who regularly contributes quality gets a lot more leeway to have a bad day or insert their head up their ass, but someone who does little but troll gets rolled up quickly (which is probably how it should be).
