Well, everybody's correct about one thing or another here, but the reason that I don't like bad field conditions under any circumstances (if I think I have the better team) is that bad conditions statistically lower the number of points scored. That means that (on average) the games are "closer" and the margin of victory more susceptible to Odd Shit Happening. I don't want my superior team to lose a close game because of OSH. I've heard it in many sports: That team will win 9 out of 10 games with that other one, BUT not this time with what went on. I want Love and his buddies with good traction, so they can show what they can do. I want Moore and his buddies with good traction to show what they can do. I don't want some weird handslip from Carr just when the DB happens to get his feet right. etc etc
