Well the HC of Iowa State just told them no. So let him be the one to tell you it's not that attractive of a job. I don't really care about the 'allure' or lack thereof of MSU but I also wouldn't limit it to the current top 25. There are programs not currently in the top 25 that would be more attractive. A one season ranking isn't that relevant.
Sure they're relevant. I used the current top 25 as an example because you don't see them in the top 25 on a regular basis like you typically do with MSU. I suspect you would find similar examples from previous years. We could go case by case with this and not agree. One coach doesn't define if ISU is better than MSU IMO. Campbell has something going and may want to see how far he can take it. Doesn't mean the ISU job is better. I may be wrong, but it appears you're using the micronism of this year to make the claim that ISU is better. If we're looking at just this moment, I don't disagree. If you're looking at the broader view and history, MSU is better IMO. ISU has played FB 27 more years, yet MSU has won 67 more games in a shorter period.

I won't debate the issues they have with the athletic department at the moment, but that like Joe Pa at PSU will pass as well. Like I said, if we're looking at just this moment, we agree. If we're discussing overall then we'll agree to disagree.
