That's true to an extent, and we'd all be grateful if Moore was clearly prioritizing relationship-building with our current commits.Somebody brought up a good point regarding Dante needing to build relationships with other current commits and missing out on opportunities to do so. That is, if he is a silent and/or has signed an outside contract that ties him to Nd. I wonder if Dante is part of the “group chat” of ND commits?
No they're recruiting the position like they know recruiting around him puts at risk the opportunity to land him. Obviously they feel he's worth it. I tend to agree. We'll see.And Notre Dame doesn’t owe him anything either. But they’re recruiting the position like they do owe him something.
He’s worth it, to an extent. There’s also risk in playing the game all the way up until NSD. If you don’t land him, then what?No they're recruiting the position like they know recruiting around him puts at risk the opportunity to land him. Obviously they feel he's worth it. I tend to agree. We'll see.
I do agree that you'd think Dante would want to go all in publicly with ND if that's where he wants to be. It doesn't just hurt ND. It has some impact on the recruiting class which directly effects the talent of the team he's playing on. That can have a significant long term impact on personal/team goals for his college career and perception by the next level.
I was just clarifying his point on the II podcast, which was all of the schools (outside of the Midwest) are NIL-heavy-hitters. They specifically mentioned some recruiting analysts feel this kid isn't leaving the Midwest. But he's checking out options beyond the Midwest, potentially for NIL reasons.Dublins post said "everyone" is active in NIL
I was showing that's not true. He visited UM as well.
You are incorrect. They are recruiting Dante like he's the best option by a wide margin and the entire staff knows what they need to get a natty. So they are going all in and trying to get the players that'll put ND over the top.And Notre Dame doesn’t owe him anything either. But they’re recruiting the position like they do owe him something.
This could likely be the case. Combined with getting nice chunks of cash just to go visit other places. Why not?Maybe this young fellow justs wants to be on that signing day TV show where the "undecided" future hopeful stars get to make a big drama about choosing a hat, and getting a TV interview.
Trust the turtle.
#GoIrishI have a hate hate relationship with this thread
you forgot the "all is well"#GoIrish
When Moore ultimately commits, this thread be like:

I tell you like I tell my wife when she hangs out with her cute bi lady friend, pictures or it didnt happen.Saw sea turtle tracks on the beach this morning and learned that the conservationists here do a turtle patrol each day around dawn to look for new nests. If they find one, they actually relocate it to a safer part of the beach and monitor it until the eggs hatch.
Anyways, by the time I got there the sea turtle was gone, so I didn’t get to ask her for an update on Dante Moore. But if I see any tonight I’ll make sure to ask when Moore plans on publicly committing.
Same.I tell you like I tell my wife when she hangs out with her cute bi lady friend, pictures or it didnt happen.
I just want LAX to get us a turtle pic or get his phone wet trying.Same.
But this is a better discussion for the question about a girl thread.
Help recruit his own classHe's been to ND, what, 9+ times (on his own dime).
What more can he do in South Bend at this point?
Trick is you have to ask after the wine coolers.I just want LAX to get us a turtle pic or get his phone wet trying.
Zima went bust right around the time LAX would have graduated,…………. Just sayinTrick is you have to ask after the wine coolers.
Here on planet earth we fully expect to be left at the altar though.I'd bet good money that Dante already signed an NIL deal with FUND that includes an escalation clause, which commits ND to beating the best offer he receives elsewhere. But it seems like his deal doesn't require him to commit before NSD, which is why his incentive is now to take this down to the wire. Major oversight if true.
Hypothetically, if that was the case, would that render him ineligible in Michigan for his senior season?I'd bet good money that Dante already signed an NIL deal with FUND that includes an escalation clause, which commits ND to beating the best offer he receives elsewhere. But it seems like his deal doesn't require him to commit before NSD, which is why his incentive is now to take this down to the wire. Major oversight if true.
No issue if he’s not receiving funds now I believe (and not “incentivized” to go to NDHypothetically, if that was the case, would that render him ineligible in Michigan for his senior season?
Interesting take, and pretty plausible.I'd bet good money that Dante already signed an NIL deal with FUND that includes an escalation clause, which commits ND to beating the best offer he receives elsewhere. But it seems like his deal doesn't require him to commit before NSD, which is why his incentive is now to take this down to the wire. Major oversight if true.
