All Irish 37-20
FEI projects our offense and defense to be the 11th and 20th best in the nation respectively. Louisville's units are projected as the 81st and the 110th(!) respectively.
If that's accurate, they might not stop us a single time, even after Phil comes in.
Their defense can’t be as bad as 2018. That was a team that straight up quit because their coaches quit on them.
No italics?
I thought you liked the boys this year...this would be a d-day scenario.
I'm trying to pull back. The more excited I get about the team, the poorer their performance. I figure if I reverse course and be super negative to start the season we might win the National Championship. I have a similar curse when it comes to the Cavs, any game of theirs I watch they lose. I swore off watching any games after they dropped to 1-3 in the 2016 Finals and...well...we know what happened next. Subsequently I watched all the Finals games the following season except their lone win in Game 4.

If our defense can really hold that line and our offense can be just slightly better than the projection, we could very well be in for another run to the playoffs.
I've listened to all of our beat writers and most are projecting us with a 9-3 floor and a 10-2 ceiling with a few stepping out and saying 11-1.
Would love to see another undefeated season.
I voted 20-26 point win, but am rethinking that now. My prediction 45 - 10, maybe 45 - 17 if UL adds a late TD against backups.
Claypool has a BIG day.
I've never seen such a collective thought on an ND score prediction.
Seems like everyone's a FG away from 46-15, one way or the other. That's here, an other site and Twitter.
All except the Oracle from El Paso that is.
My "bold" take: I think Finke actually finishes with more yards than Claypool. With the Young and Kmet injuries, I could see them blanketing Claypool as the primary option.
The Slippery Fox will have a big game too.
