Jesus that was a trainwreck. Highly recruited too....will always be a mystery
Exactly, same class as Tommy. Rated substantially higher and it didn’t work out.

And Crist “won” the job as well, just couldn’t keep it. Don’t really care about who wins it, care about who keeps it.
Point is, neither Zaire or Wimbush were the answer that everyone expected. They were older, given their chance, and ultimately lost the position to younger less heralded prospects. Malik was rated a fair amount higher coming out of HS than Kizer.
The why he lost the job is irrelevant to what I said. He lost his job and never got it back. And that was not what everybody thought would happen. Which is the point of why I said it. Zaire was supposed to be the face of the program. Just like Crist and Wimbush. They all lost the jobs to inferior/younger prospects. They all have that in common.
ND fans have been wrong about who the next starting QB is going to be

Meyer at UF wanted him bad too, which was crazy
So is the team he plays on bad or something? They are 1-2 and his stats are not good 5 TD's 3 Int's

I don't trust Tennessee's judgement, but Georgia chasing him gives me the warm and fuzzies.Although his commitment was never in question, both Georgia and Tennessee tried to flip him, per Loy
