Wouldn't be surprised if he's a kid whose body gets radically reshaped. He hasn't played a game of football in over a year, and Balis will have options. I'd personally like to see if we can trim him up to stay at SDE before we concede growing into a DT.

We are in favorable position with guys who we are higher on.

It’s not sudden at all, been this way for awhile now. Staff just likes others more. Lacey, Spears, and Mazi Smith are ahead of him. With 2 of 3 spots filled up at DT, not much need to rush things.

That's a fantastic foundation for the next four years. We've come a loooong way from the days of trying to convert Jacob Matuska into a DT because we completely struck out in recruiting.
