It is hard to watch sports with kids in the room - commercials are f-ing ridiculous. "Hey look kids! Boner meds!" followed by some incredibly graphic horror movie commercial or shoot em up flick. How am I supposed to brain wash my four year old if he can't watch ND sports with me?!!

You should see the pre teen TV shows now. So much back talk to parents, making fun of adults, etc. I mean it is really bad. Im not meaning to come off as a grandpa here but when you teach kids to not respect adults or elders, that is bad any way you shake it.

I don't think Wingman is saying that tv makes anyone more a Christian or less. I am assuming you mean in the realm of sanctification?

Im saying is that if you are Christian, as in having a REAL relationship with Jesus and seeking to do His will, that you wont be okay with your kids watching that stuff. The Word clearly says the responsibility of the children is squarely on the shoulders of the parents. If I claim to follow Jesus and strive to do His Will, how can I possibly be okay with my kid watching things that are opposite?

Lol this is like saying I should get my lil nephew high becuz u know he'll find out about it...

That's a bullshit analogy. If you're kid sees a murder on tv it doesn't mean you forced him to murder someone. Completely ridiculous argument.

How about letting your kid know what drugs are, and explain your thoughts, then expecting them to make good informed decisions? One day these kids, whether you like it or not, will be exposed to bad things. That's life.... but if they simply don't know anything about the real world going on around them, how in the hell are they expected to make informed decisions?

There is a big difference between sitting your kids down to explain them of the worldly ugly things and having them shown it in a way that makes it attractive or at least, less ugly than it really is (television).

I was never exposed to any transgender people as a little kid. Now that I'm 19 and form my own opinions, I know that being transgendered does not make you evil, as I have multiple trans classmates who are some of the kindest and most intelligent people I have ever met. That's the best part about growing up, you don't have to blindly accept everything your parents forced you to believe as a child.

I think he's an under appreciated part of the freshman class. A lot of projection in what I'm about to say, with assumptions that we start see player development on defense, but a DL with Senior DE's of D. Hayes, Okwara, and Kareem. Junior DT's of Ewell and MTA, with possible sophomores Ademilola's, Franklin, Mustipher, Booker.

Now you are really starting to get somewhere.

I truly believe he is going to be a more solid Kona Schwenke

Maybe a little Kapron Lewis Moore? See if the leadership skills are there but I'm excited about this kid

Myron was 6'4", 270 pounds without lifting that much in high school. He moves well for his size and is going to get much bigger. Per ISD.

I think he is going to be very good in his time at ND

Yes. Yes he is. Sites had him as a 3 star, but 247 stuck him with a 4th star and put him in the top 247, at number 247 to be precise.

Notre Dame got a steal. This kid is going to be a star.

Actually wasn't it Elston who saw him when he was on his official to USC. Something like Elston was like who is that and does he have any interest in ND.

Then Polian and Elko sealed the deal.

So I can say Elston gets no love...

This was a university win, IMO. I read that he got the #1 tour all weekend. He met everybody including Swarbrick. We treated him as that type of guy, and we got him.

Great job by the staff and he's going to be rally good. Kudos.

You can say that again. He closed in from behind and made the tackle in the second half on either the running back or the QB which I thought was super impressive.

Very surprised the stadium announcer absolutely nailed his name, while simultaneously referring to EQ as "Equanimous Brown"

MTA playing like a stud, i thought he would just be a big space eater but he's got a lot of burst and hustle in his game. He'll still a manchild too, wait til he's 3 years in the program he could be a 1st round pick
