His film doesn't seem 4.3 fast, but he is fast enough. I like his suddeness in his routes and with the ball in his hands in the open field. Never heard of him ... but then again, he's probably never heard of me either. Welcome aboard C.J.

If you're talking about the link in the OP, they are his sophomore highlights. His track time suggests he's made some progression in that area.

Really like his highlights. Smooth, fast, quick cuts and has got great speed.

Does the Rocket Ismail kneel down after his first TD, I'm sold.

From looking at a Tennessee site, they had posted earlier that even though he is a pOSU legacy, the the Buckeyes weren't showing much interest right now as they have quite a few that they were pursuing in front of CJ. However, many Buckeyes believe that they could flip him whenever they want with a late offer.

Grew up in Tennessee but just moved to Cali just recently.

Nice SPARQ rating

Let's hope OSU doesn't offer.

O$U fans are delusional and think Almighty Urban can get whoever he wants.

Welcome CJ!

Just finished my write up on the kid. Don't judge. It was rushed.

Thought we had a profile already for the kid. I remember him being mentioned forever ago and watching his film.

The 5-foot-9, 165-pound wide receiver played his freshmen through junior seasons at Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. He will transfer to Notre Dame High in Sherman, California for his senior year.

Sanders, who chose the Irish over offers from Duke, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Northwestern, Stanford, Tennessee and USC, was team captain his junior year, and he caught 43 passes for 665 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also returned three punts for 113 yards and a score. That earned him the distinction of being a TSSAA Division II Class AA Mr. Football Back of the Year finalist.

Sherman finished 8-4 in 2013, reaching the state semifinals before falling to eventual champion Ensworth 21-12.

Sanders' dad, Chris Sanders, was a standout wide receiver for Ohio State in the early '90s before playing with the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans in the NFL. He was a third round pick in 1995. Sanders' step-dad, safety Corey Harris (born in Indianapolis, Indiana), played at Vanderbilt and went on to win a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens. He was a third round draft pick in 1992.

You know what the saddest part of this whole situation is????

Tom Loy didn't even have a crystal ball for Notre Dame on this kid.

Rivals had him as offered. RuntheBall threw up the link a few posts up in this thread.

Brentwood (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy four-star wide receiver C.J. Sanders picked up an offer from Notre Dame today.

2. 5/3/2014: C.J. Sanders unofficially visits Notre Dame Fighting Irish-247 had this as well

I understand what you mean though ( CB'S Stanford 56% Ohio State 22% Tennessee 11% USC 6%) , he flew very much under the radar...but he was very quiet in his recruiting and had planned on taking all visits prior to ND and visiting

Steve Hare posted on the II board that he was aware Sanders was visiting but didn't know exactly when and CJ is very hard to get in touch with.

Per II and his father, the place felt like home when he visited. The people treated them very well. When they were on campus CJ looked at his father and said "Dad this feels like home." His father told II "Thats when you've gotta make a decision."

He has offers from half of the SEC as well as Yale, Stanford and ND. That is very impressive.
