I am going to go ahead and say this ...

We all made a lot of fun out of his offer. I feel we had our fun and now it is coming to be a reality. Heggie, he never quit, he never gave up, he never bi#ched, he never whined, he changed roles, he worked hard, he was always discounted, he was called a "NOT HAPPENIN"ER" ...

Heggie is now next man in at GUARD. He worked his *** off all along the line. Not the 2nd best center but now the 2nd best guard. He will continue to be moved around throughout his career. I honestly think, what I thought with his offer, this kid was a statement.

When we got him I thought he was the one recruit, in year 1, that BK said to himself. "I will take this nobody from Florida, a 3 star at best and make him a competitor."

Year 2, NEXT MAN IN!!!

Heggie, all my respect goes to you for what you have achieved without, realy, the field. You have much time left and I am damn sure you will earn that field! Good luck the rest of the way.

Hear hear. Heggie proves yet again that he's a true team guy by taking reps with the D this week.

When Coach Kelly offered him, he said he was doing so because he had an opportunity to get a "program kid." Boy was he right.

Honestly, I would love to see him get even just a couple meaningful reps this week. I loved when Paddy Mullen would be in there in 2009 as a senior just as the short yardage emergency d-lineman.
