I'm glad he's out of the NFC North so I can admire his play again. It's hard to root for a player who is a divisional rival.

Should be a great spot for Golden, and a great pickup for the Eagles.

Steal for the Lions too. 3rd rounder for a guy who's going to leave the organization after 8 weeks? Take that all day.

Damn. That sucks. Probably for the best, I don’t think he was coming back to the Lions next year anyway.

Demaryius Thomas to Houston.. How about Cooper, Eli Apple, Carlos Hyde, Josh Gordon, Khalil Mack,

These aren't just your run of the mill players getting traded.. Lot of action

Oh, I thought you meant today....

Will always love Golden Tate as a player.

He was the same year as my sister at ND. She told me when the Seahawks came to Atlanta, he reached out and offered her and her roommate tickets to the game. After the game he reached out again saying that they owe him $160.

I find that hard to believe. I knew him a little bit in college and he was never cheap. Just surprised to hear that.

I’m not sure I believe that as well... he’s deff not a cheap guy at alll, anddddd every time we have gotten tix through him for away games, there’s no way they’d cost $160. Away tix for family are NOT the best seats at all.

I remember when Tate & Harrison Smith were being recruited by Ed Orgeron in Bruce Feldman’s fantastic look at CFB recuiting, “Meat Market”

He borrowed my friend's ID and bought himself a whole Sbarro pizza once. Doesn't mean he's cheap but I still think it's hilarious all these years later.

He got out in front of this very quickly. I hope he wins his appeal, but I'll reserve judgement for now. Robert Mathis served a suspension and he also said it came from taking fertility treatments.

I remember that about Mathis too. I think he also said at the time that he knew it would result in a positive test but he essentially didn’t care as he was more concerned about the benefit for his family. Seems like the NFL may need to take a closer look at how fertility treatments are addressed in their testing policy.
