I don't think he was ever the victim of a clean solo tackle. He usually made one guy miss, made the second one hang on for dear life, then scooted his way to the sidelines with additional defenders arriving and draping themselves all over him, and he STILL wouldn't go to the ground.

Nice! I always contended that his CF skills translated to his WR skills as he had some of the strongest hands of an WR I’ve seen. Dude could catch anything.

I suspect he’s doing this for fun considering his age. Torii Hunter Jr is still toiling in AAA in the Angels organization. I know he played a little at ND (mostly pinch-running IIRC) but probably didn’t take it seriously until his football career was over.
