Welcome to Irish Envy. I have no doubt that at least part of our recent recruiting success has to do with the high level of recruits in the midwest this year. But really, there are talented big men in the midwest every year, and it's really unprecedented to see ND land 4 of these guys as quickly as they have. I really believe that what they're saying about Hiestand is true. Seems like a great guy and recruiter.

Yessir. This is huge. Wasn't it Darby who was the lone ND player at one of the all-star games last year and he was surrounded by FSU kids? And look how that turned out. Peer pressure really affects these kids in making these decisions more than we like to think. If the other kids on Team USA hang out with them, they realize they want to play with them, and then go to ND. Good stuff.

That's what I thought it was. Do ya know if any of the kids we have offers out to will be there this year? Having two guys, one 6'7" and the other 6'6", staring down at you telling you to go to ND can be awfully persuasive

Won 3A state title in KY for shot put. I really like these well multi-sport kids.
