Stumbled across a web site that had film breakdowns of our current 2013 commits and posted all of them to this thread. Now posting to the individual recruits thread.

The analysis is done by Matt Alkire who worked for Scout for a number of years. Here is his bio for anyone who cares

Matt Alkire is also employed by Fox Sports where he works as a college and high school football recruiting analyst, mainly covering the Northeast portion of the country for Scout.com where he coordinates with players, coaches and administrators at the high school and collegiate levels. He is a regular for many ESPN radio affiliates for both the NFL Draft and high school recruiting, contributes on a regular basis to Fox publications and was also featured in former New England Patriot All-Pro Brent William’s book “Recruit My Son”. He has been doing extensive film study since the 2003 season for the NFL Draft. As a football player, Alkire played both defensive end and tight end and comes from a family with a rich coaching background.

Was the top OL performer and #2 overall at the first day of team USA practice. Performed better than both Ethan Pocic and Logan Tuley-Tillman.

Hinton is still ALL over him but he said he is not going anywhere. Told reporter ND has always been his dream school and you can't beat the education either.

Tearing. It. Up.

@LonghornDigest Kevin Flaherty: "Best USA position group might be the OL. Hunter Bivin might be overall best player here, and Ethan Pocic and Alec Abeln are strong."

It's solidify Monday! Thanks for all the updates Golden! It's great to see our commits are confident in their decisions. It's also great to see one of our O-line commits showing out!

When you are certain and not torn; convinced yet not conceited; you are more focused than most, and free to explore the depths of your potential. I couldn't be happier for Hunter, and for Notre Dame we've got a real special young man here.

I would be shocked if he is not a three year starter at LT. Looks like a young Aaron Taylor.

Top 6 performer on Monday per 247.

Bivin will probably make this list every practice because he continues to look the part and play the part at right tackle.

RT @JHowellOB: Hunter Bivin is impressing at tackle and center. That is one kid who passes the eyeball test and has the frame to add more

Man Biven's a monster! That pic really put how big he is into perspective. It's difficult to range when he is standing next to the other o-lineman but damn bro they are all huge!

I can tell you how big Hunter is. I think the term I used in my original recitation was, "blocked the sun." It was when we were talking to Corey Robinson at the spring game. I am 5'11" and I got a pretty good view of his chest, standing under him and all. Corey, who looked bigger than advertised, (over 6'4") was dwarfed by this guy too. He probably wasn't, but looked to be about twice as wide as Corey. And his hands and arms and legs were all well proportioned. He wasn't all trunk, or thighs. He did have long arms for being so well built. I remember thinking, when they get him in the weight room with Longo, look out!

Bog, thanks for the in depth description.....I'm really excited about this kid. On top of him looking better than other schools recruits: Pocic, Tuley-Tullman are a few ghat. Ome to mind.

And he may not be the best, or have the biggest upside. (I hate making comments like that because it is so easy to misconstrue, plus it ain't about competition within the program.) But don't count out guys like Elmer and McGovern (to me he [then they] looks the best, right now).

Nor am I counting out any of the others....I'm extremely excited about the commits we have on our OL, there's not one kid I have any questions about. You're right, though, he may not be the best or ha e ghe most upside, which is one of the reasons I love this haul.

Oh, I got that! And something else. It's kind of funny with that little guy from OSU pestering him and all; it was apparent that Hunter didn't have the kind of personality to put up with much of that. He speaks his mind, and gets to business. When he says no, I don't think you want to push him too far.

@LonghornDigest: "Another strong day for tackles Hunter Bivin and Ethan Pocic. Also liked the move of Logan Tuley-Tillman inside to guard at times."

@LonghornDigest: "I think Biven has probably been the best player, period. Kinlaw is at WR. Looks good. Really smooth.”
