Lion with a major flex.
How does a Skyline coney compare to Detroit coneys? Genuinely curious. Have you been to the GOAT of Coney Islands, Lafayette, in Detroit?I'm a Michigander by birth but have been living in Northern Kentucky for 8 years now. Your post today was the first time since I moved here that I saw Skyline Chili and actually wanted it. Went there for lunch and had 3 Coneys. I don't know who I am anymore.

Less beef heart, and more stewed fermented contents of the portajohns outside of Paul Brown StadiumHow does a Skyline coney compare to Detroit coneys? Genuinely curious. Have you been to the GOAT of Coney Islands, Lafayette, in Detroit?

You guys subtly attempting to turn this into another word thread? In addition to chili/food?
Absolutely. Incredibly overhyped. Not as overhyped as Inn N Out but still pretty overhyped. Reminds me of a cross between Sonic and Burger king. Not bad, but significantly worse than Shake Shack or Five GuysWhataburger always wins best fast food burger in Texas and that shit is incredible only for how bland it is
Ino is def overhyped,… people going around like it will change your life need to stfu,… it is still objectively one of the best drive thru burgers in the country however. Miles above Whataburger, but still massively overhyped. I’ll legit take BK, maybe not sonic if I’m honest, I’d have to think on that one, over a burger from Whataburger every time.Absolutely. With you on Five Guys.Love a sonic burger but I can admit its probably nostalgia, the tots and drinks. They also have a great coney. I do love onions on a burger though and Sonic never disappoints there.
Had In N Out for the first time recently. Its definitely in the merely "very good" category, but for the price Id say it's S tier.
Five Guys is the best bar none IMO, but unfortunately you're paying so much more that its really hard to justify even if the burger is better.
I have been to Lafayette Coney Island. To me, its apples and oranges. Skyline always throws me with the cloves and cinnamon. My favorite is actually Yesterdog in Grand Rapids, MI and more of a accurate comparison to Lafayette. How does a Skyline coney compare to Detroit coneys? Genuinely curious. Only had Whataburger once, I just remember going "Damn this burger is wide". It was ok, very bready. With you on Five Guys.
I think Wendy’s may be the best among the true fast food chains
I used to get a route 44 diet cherry limeade every single day on my way to work as a lifeguard (had to keep the figure up for the pool moms), and it got to the point where they told me “oh did you get new sunglasses, they look nice” so I had to stop going for a bitNothing better than a giant cherry limeade from Sonic.
Agreed. The price and the fact it’s one of the only fresh made burgers in a drive thru make it really good, top tier for a drive thru … but yeah, it’s still overrated. It’s easily one of the best McDonald’s style burgers around, and that’s that. Five guys is def better burger to burger but good lord it’s expensive and it’s not drive thru so I don’t really put them on equal footingLove a sonic burger but I can admit its probably nostalgia, the tots and drinks. They also have a great coney. I do love onions on a burger though and Sonic never disappoints there.
