They should put the X in gold.

that touches on a concern for me...footwear. Rather soccer, football, or hoops...its not to be trifled with...and my worst nightmare was NEW anything in the footwear department...I would have beaten someone senseless if I had to go through that more than once a season. Maybe things are better in terms of break-in...fit, etc.

I mean the players all have many pairs of cleats and gloves both practice and game. My problem is that when I played it still was not quality and could break during the game. This could actually be a problem.

Under Armour will do a good job with Jerseys and the "under armour" shirts and pants. I also do not see them screwing up the Jersey designs as well.

For football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, etc. But for a soccer player? No. This is the most important piece of equipment.

I still love the move, but not if I were a soccer player at ND.

I know, soccer doesn't matter.

Seriously though, maybe and interlocking ND or "Irish" under the collar too. Similar to the old Adidas jerseys.

Nooooo!!! Look what they did!!! The horror... The horror...

To lighten the mood, and because I'm laughing at myself, I never understood the logo until this announcement. Then I finally saw it. It makes perfect sense now. Not even kidding.

UA is serious about product that works. They are not about fashion first. They are a performance apparel, footwear and equipment company, it is what they are built on. Trust me on this, I have seen it up close and I've been in the room w Kevin Plank when he has talked about their merchandise. He is passionate about making the best gear for the athlete. I spoke w a member of the company a couple days ago and they are stoked about this relationship. This will be a win win. Not to worry and stay thirsty my friends.

ND hasn't won anything really since the Adidas move... The curse is lifted... Onward to victory. Protect this house.

I love this style for football cleats. I really hope they make a Notre Dame version of it. I could see Everett wearing them.

I played a pickup basketball game a few years ago, and wore Chuck Taylors to be cute and funny. Joke was on me after my ankle got rolled about 4 minutes into the game.

Was it due to the sticker missing on the side? You know they weren't worth a dang once the sticker came off.

Carhartt if you want durability.

I'll have to check them out. They have a retail outlet at The Mall of America, a 15 minute ride on the #5 bus.

I pretty much hate malls. MOA is the Mother of All Malls. Fascinating yet disturbing. There's a Sears there. I bought a lawn mower there eight years ago. I didn't take the bus then, I drove the mini-van.

The whole world went screwy when shizzle came along and overtook Keds and PF Flyers.

There was even diversity back then. They came in black or white. Nobody knew teal and taupe were colors.

I'm not worried about what the uniforms will look like. With ND making the final approval, I'm sure they won't stray to far from tradition.

However, I want to know what my fan clothing options will be.
