I’d be surprised if Zinter doesn’t commit this weekend or shortly after.

Ha, I took 4 stabs at the damn thing and won't be right, lol. Seems like this is all but setup for a commitment from Zinter.

Is there talk that they might not accept his commitment at this time? Why would they let him turn around in two weeks when he has a Jun 21st OV scheduled? We've all seen stranger things but Zinter's gotta be the odds on favorite to be the next boomer.

JD Bertrand visited from Georgia multiple times without getting an offer because space was limited. We only accepted a commitment after he agreed to basically commit as a walk on. Also, Matt Bockhorst visited like eight times and we never offered/let him commit.

Zinter likely doesn’t fall in those categories because he has an actual offer. But space is limited in this class and the staff is so hot right now they may want to hold off on taking his pledge.

With Mills in the rearview, who's next you ask?

The ND sites all but ruined the worst kept secret in CFB recruiting

Tosh Baker is next.

So we don't know exact order right now but we have high hopes for Baker, McGregor and Tyree, is that right? No guarantees at this point on any of them but each would be a jewel in this class.

I would put them in the same order of likelihood of ending up at ND as you listed them there.

Baker is Irish and that will be public fairly soon.

McGregor and Tyree are far from slam dunks but the Irish seem to be trending up with both.

I think it'll be, in order of announcement (but not likelihood):

Baker
McGregor
Tyree

by the end of the month, with a dark horse like Cody Simon nestled somewhere in there

Besides the lanky German kid our 2020 class is damn impressive. Amazing what winning does.

And who knows, said German kid might turn out to be a diamond in the rough.

That one is funny because I thought at the time he committed that it would be a solid take by the staff with the need for 5-6 guys on the DLine but after pulling in Jordan Botelho, Rylie Mills, Aidan Keanaaina, and potentially Braiden McGregor that last spot seems to be better served using some of these American dudes they have coming this summer. It will be interesting to see if ND get McGregor on board then maybe they cancel the official visits of Mitchell Melton and Ben Yurosek which is too bad because I’d much rather have either of them in the class than Ehrensberger but it was a chance that the staff wanted to take. I’d honestly rather take a chance on Ben Yurosek, Mitchell Melton, Cullen Coleman, Jaheim Thomas, Phillip Webb, Jared Ivey, or Antwuan Powell. However, having said all that, I think a class of Botelho, Mills, McGregor, Keanaaina, and Ehrensberger is probably an A level class so it would be excellent.

Do we think Ehrensberger signed already? He was listed as a class of 2019 guy in certain places iirc, and he committed right around signing day.

I don't believe so. I haven't seen that anywhere. It was expected that he's a 2020 EE.

Well if that were to occur we'd be sitting with the number 4 class with a nearly identical average star ranking as Alabama with a long snapper dragging down the average. So... yeah that would be a good month.

Damn long snappers. Nobody give a hoot about them until they have that one bad snap.

Baker- publicly either tonight or tomorrow
Braiden- any moment
Tyree- end of the month/ middle of month. He’s deciding and then OV only ND? It’s over

Could be the biggest month since..........? Ever?

Is there really that much hope with landing McGregor? Not doubting, just curious.

A lot of growing optimism around ND. It seems like ND is winning the relationship part here. Best coach relationship, Elston. Best recruit relationship, Mills (per Braiden they talk everyday).

Matt Freeman mentioned a few days back that confidence is growing that ND could get this done. Tom Loy feels ND leads as of 5/5. Josh Helmholdt, the Midwest guy, thinks McGregor to ND. LuckyLucci mentioned the relationship with Mills could be a factor. NDCrusader & LuckyLucci mentioned they think ND lands Mills (with a CB or whatever they can do on the IE board).

Overall, I'm not as confident as everyone else right now because there are a lot of smart people on the Michigan side of those CB's that I'll be curious to see what happens over the next few weeks. LuckyLucci also mentioned and it is obvious ND is still out recruiting DE's around the country and two have set up officials to ND in June so I don't think he's 100% in yet, but I'm really really hopeful he can be that final piece to the puzzle that Mike Elston is alluding to.

So, I think I've quickly picked up on EJ Holland's version of "buzz buzz", "all is well", or coffee is for closers. A day or two before Mills committed, EJ tweeted a picture of a Starbucks frappuccino. He just did it again last night. Even Driskell retweeted it. Maybe he just likes tweeting his drinks? Lol. But if Tosh commits today or tomorrow, I think EJ tweeting a picture of a Starbucks drink is his bat signal.
