Are any prospects on that list s.o.l. if someone else commits (other than for total scholly reasons)?
Today is the start of the dead period correct? Do any of these guys have a decision date set during the dead period other than Studstill and McCulloch?
What date is McCulloch supposed to announce?
Sounds like he's making his initial decision January 2nd at the UA game, but will take visits after. In other words, he's planning on committing to us, then torturing us until signing day. Or he's planning on committing somewhere else, and then torturing us until signing day.

He's saying that now and maybe its true but I'm not 100% certain this is what happens unless he commits to A&M and then visits afterwards. I think he feels a lot of pressure to stay home and play ball but doesn't necessarily want to. I think thats why he is cancelling visits last minute and saying he'll take them in the future without actually scheduling them. JMO at the moment.
Do we actually think he's committing to us? I kind of crossed this guy off but haven't really followed.
How would you guys rank Long, Fuller, Hamlin, Studstill, and Pride in terms of want? Think they are all pretty damn good
Updated all names following Studstill going public. Removed some names from the board and shifted some guys around. McCulloch is the hardest one to peg.
We probably want 1 more CB, 1 LB, and 1 WR at minimum. Those I would consider "needs"... after that, I expect us to simply try to take the best players we can get and try to keep holding on to this current group. With Notre Dame, usually there are at least 1 or 2 academic casualties every year so be ready for those to rear their ugly head at any moment.
meaning because it usually happens or get ready and pucker up?
Meaning because it usually happens, I've only heard of two guys that might have problems in this class and I don't think either is in dire straights. Then again, you have guys like Bo Wallace and Nile Sykes that come out of nowhere and completely shock everyone.
So, Loy is saying that we are only taking one of Pride/Hamlin and that is why Pride hasn't committed yet. This is a change from what I've heard before but if true, I don't agree with the strategy. They must feel really good about Hamlin.

So in basically Pride would be ND right now but the staff is telling him they won't accept his commitment right now? So when Hamlin chooses another school we won't end up with either.
I think if you asked the staff what is their IDEAL finish for a 5 person class it would be Hamlin, Kelly, McCulloch, McKinley, Robertson. What I think realistically is going to happen is that you're going to get Hamlin, Jones, McKinley... and then probably one of Ferns/Kelly/McCulloch, and one of Pride/Fuller/Long. Which is still fantastic.
per RIVALS---they are predicting Jones,Shark,Fuller, javon and a wild card of corley, robertson, kelly, hamlin, alloway, davis
